Assistance Required

1. Raipur division is receiving large number of rakes with intensive BPC from other zonal railway examination points. In the year 2010-11 the average number of rakes per month received at PP Yard with intensive BPC is 50 with major contribution of 28.4 rakes /month from VZP only. This figure for the month of Apr-10-11 has been increased to much higher side i.e. 87 rakes per month which includes 47 rakes from VZP direction. These rakes with intensive BPC needed to be curbed down. 2. The over due CC rakes of Bhilai base are examined at BSL and given End to End (Intensive) BPC, instead they should be given flying rake BPC for 7 days. For this BSL may be nominated as Flying base for SECR CC rakes (Ref.:Railway Board letter no. 2009/M(N)/951/4, dt. 04.03.2009)

3.

Raipur division has under taken the Centralized maintenance of EUR rakes, but other zonal Railway are not sending Ramps, chutes and SLR for accompanying staff along with EUR rake. *****
