Teacher activity -ask them to open the website (littlescientist) -download the notes given below the carbohydrates and fats information Go through the lesson -Tell them how important the nutrients -excess intake food nutrient can lead to sickness to our body -first of all, tell them today topic only cover the carbohydrates and fats -ask the student to think of any food that contain carbohydrates -randomly select student to tell me one of the food

7-45 -ask them to jot down the answers given by teacher so that when they print out the notes, they can then fill in the blank. -explain the three main group of carbohydrates: 1)monosaccharides 2)disaccharides 3)polysaccharides At the same time, i would use visualiser to show them how the three main group of carbohydrates made of using the plastic model -each of the importances. -the importance of the fats.

-they will learn to think different kinds of food that contain carbohdyrates before the lesson introduce to them -it is necessary for them to bring laptop as some of the answers from the handouts can be found from the link. -there is more details about the carbohydrates and fats.thus it is important for them to download some of the notes from there.(as not all the information is at the handouts) -they will learn to use the technology. -save time.not all information to be taught in class.

ACTIVITY: -ask them to download the assignment -it is a short assignment(crossword puzzle) for them to be done at home. -ask them to hand in by this week. -tell them that i will post a question related to today topic on the forum and ask them to participate in this forum as it carrys 5 marks -remind them to write their names everytime given answer through forum
