Introduction

BULLY BUZZ is an organization apart of CoKo BuZZ- The Ultimate Fabulous & Upscale Teen Social Network. It was founded in January 2010 and its current ownership is shared by Vista Development, Inc. and CoKo BellA Corporation. BULLY BUZZ is a Bully Intervention and Empowerment Program for young children, teens, and young adults for our local areas of Riverside and San Bernardino County. Our goal is to prevent and maintain a zero tolerance of bulling in our schools, work place, and community. We focus on reducing and preventing bullying, cyber bullying, sexting and other digital abuse, educating against homophobia, racism and hatred, decreasing school absenteeism, and deterring violence in schools, online and in our communities. We teach effective solutions on how to respond to all forms of bullying; as well as educating young children, teens, and young adults in school and online, providing help for those in need and at risk of suicide, raising awareness, peer mentoring programs in schools and for the public. BULLY BUZZ enables young children, teens and young adults to submit private request online and via hotline seeking assistance for bulling situations they may be facing at school, work, or within their community. Their online requests will create a support ticket that can be categorized in different support levels of low, medium, high, and urgent. Within their request we collect the pertinent information needed to begin the intervention process, such as, their name, school, the bullys name and school, city and state, information about their situation, and give the option to provide any pictures or videos of any bruises and afflictions that can be used when contacting school officials, parents, and in a lot of cases the local authorities. All photos and videos are kept private and only used as evidence to help substantiate intervention. After all the necessary information is collected upon submission a ticket number is created and emailed to the victim or reporter of the abuse. A second notification is send to BULLY BUZZ that alerts us that we have received a intervention request. Once we receive the request we will respond to the ticket by letting the victim or reporter know we have received their request and one of our Peer Advocates will contact them as soon as possible (normally immediately to within 10 minutes of received request). Once BULLY BUZZ makes contact we discuss their situation to assess what kind of intervention needs to take place. It is very crucial that we assess if suicide intervention is needed right from the beginning. If suicide intervention is needed one of our Peer Advocates will initiate intervention with counseling beginning with cavernous reassurance that they are not alone and we are here to help them. We will intervene at every level possible including helping them talk to their parent or guardian about their situation, going to schools and speaking with administration, contacting the school of the bully and their parents and in some extreme situations going to the proper authorities, when an agreeable resolution cannot be reached.

Every support ticket is documented with every procedure and step taken to intervene and prevent. This means every email, phone call, office visit, meeting, and report regarding the request for bully intervention is logged for record. We believe this will give the reassurance that their voice has been heard, and there is someone who cares enough to take a stance and help protect. Once intervention has been completed all BULLY BUZZ support tickets for bully intervention remain open for 90 days for continued follow up and support. After 90 days the ticket will be closed, but all information will remain available forever for future reference if needed. There are no limits to the amounts of reports and intervention requests BULLY BUZZ will take. Every request will be taken seriously and every voice will be heard. If there is a bully who is seeking to get help he or she may also submit their information here as well. We will speak to them about their situation, discuss their options and help them with obtaining help with their issues.
