Go to InfoProvider RMC on the Business Analytics InfoArea 1 LMC on Create InfoCube context menu
Provide a name and a description for the basic InfoCube. In this example,
On the Characteristics Tab, find the Characteristic InfoObject we created previously (BACC1) by scrolling down the template. Select the InfoObject by LMC on the button on its left.
LMC on the left arrow button to transfer the InfoObject to the Cube structure.
Note that the InfoObject (BACC1) is transferred into the structure of the Cube and that the compounded characteristic 0CO_AREA is automatically transferred into the structure of the cube as well.
Adding InfoObjects to the Cube. This time we will use InfoObjects from a built- in InfoSource template named 0CO_OM_CCA_1 (Cost centers: Costs and allocations ). Hence, 1. We restrict the objects displayed in the Template window to InfoSources by LMC on the InfoSource button. 2. Search for the 0CO_OM_CCA_1 InfoSource by LMC the search button, typing the name of the InfoSource, and LMC on Continue.
Answer Yes to the Transfer all template InfoObjects into the structure prompt.
We get the Structure of the cube with the InfoObject that we defined and the InfoObjects from the 0CO_OM_CCA_1 (Cost centers: Costs and allocations) template as below.
Exclude characteristics that are not needed in the cube from the cube structure namely, 0COSTCENTER (remember we defined our own cost center), 0ACTTYPE, and 0VSTAT. Select these characteristics by LMC on the buttons to their left and then on the Reset fields button.
The InfoObjects selected above are removed from the cube structure.
Turn on the Navigation attributes so that they are available for reporting in the InfoCube. LMC on the Nav. attributes button. Mark the checkboxes of the Business Area and Company Code navigation attributes. LMC on Continue.

LMC on Create and type the descrition of each dimension in the Long Description column.
All dimensions created. Note that their names are assigned by the system and they include the name of the cube followed by a number (e.g. BABIC12 for the second dimension).
LMC on the Cost Center dimension, mark the check boxes of the characteristics that belong to this dimension (as shown below), and LMC on the Assign dimension button.
LMC on the Cost Element dimension, mark the check boxes of the characteristics that belong to this dimension (as shown below), and LMC on the Assign dimension button.
LMC on the Value Type / Version dimension, mark the check boxes of the characteristics that belong to this dimension (as shown below), and LMC on the Assign dimension button.
You may need to scroll down to see the rest of the characteristics by LMC on the page down button, or scroll up to see the rest of the characteristics by LMC on the page up button.
LMC on the Partners dimension, mark the check boxes of the characteristics that belong to this dimension (as shown below), and LMC on the Assign dimension button.
LMC on the Currency type dimension, mark the check boxes of the characteristics that belong to this dimension (as shown below), and LMC on the Assign dimension button.
LMC on the Valuation view dimension, mark the check boxes of the characteristics that belong to this dimension (as shown below), and LMC on the Assign dimension button.
Now that characteristics have been assigned to the InfoCube and these characteristics have been grouped into dimensions, we need to add key figures to the InfoCube. LMC on the Key Figures tab. LMC on the All InfoObjects button. Select the key figures not needed in the cube from the cube structure by LMC on the buttons to their left, and LMC on the Reset fileds button.
Scroll down in the Template window to find the key figure we defined above (BAAMT1), select it by LMC on the button to its left, and transfer it to the structure of the cube by LMC on the transfer fields button.
To set the time characteristic of the Cube, LMC on the Time Characteristics Tab. Select the 0FISCYEAR and 0FISCPER3 time characteristics by LMC on the buttons to their left and transfer them to the cube structure by LMC on the transfer fields button.
The Cube is activated (i.e., created in the database and is ready to be populated with data).
