CYBERBULLYING Ethics

Part I: In states where gay marriage has been legalized, statistics show that a majority of the contracts fail within a short time period (six months to a year). According to Knight gay marriage is unethical because it encourages the failure of the marital establishment (399). The same, however, could be said of interracial marriages, which statistics reveal to be highly unsuccessful. Moreover, by encouraging gay partnerships, society is lending itself toward the Greco-Roman mentality both empires fell when their governments began allowing mass sodomy, public homosexuality, and other socially deviant behaviors, and anarchy and financial ruin followed shortly thereafter (Knight, 1984, 411-432). It has oblivious disastrous effects, i.e. most religions consider homosexuality a sin if we recognize, it will destroy religion, it would destroy the definition and respect for the institution of marriage, it would further destroy the traditional family values essential to our society, it could provide a slippery slope in the legality of marriage (e.g. having multiple wives or marrying an animal could be next), it confuses children about gender roles and expectations of society, and only a man & woman can pro-create, and last but not least the gay lifestyle is not something to be encouraged, as a lot of research shows it leads to a much lower life expectancy, psychological disorders, and other problems. The animal kingdom is no place for man to seek a blueprint for human morality (Knight, 1984, 432).The fact that man has a body and sensitive life in common with animals does not mean he is strictly an animal.

Part II: It has been around 3 years I had a journey by train and there I found few people discussing about the discrimination against gays; the topic of conversation suddenly turned to gay marriage, and I was excited to defend my conservative views to the more liberal people in the car. As I argued my anti-gay marriage views with an appeal to history and tradition, I could feel their disappointed and somewhat disgusted looks piercing into my skin as they processed what I was saying. They called gay rights a question of equality; to think anything else was simply absurd. As the debate came to a close, one of them breathed a sigh of relief. He was positive none of them had suspected anything, and his secret was still safe and secure, came to know all this when I inquired from him. Furthermore, he said, My sexuality does not solely determine who I am, even if some people treat me differently because of it. I am motivated and determined to change peoples perceptions of homosexuality, much like I changed my own. I am also prepared to study the law and represent any person who faces injustice. Lawyers are catalysts for change, and I hope to fight for what I believe is something that later generations will consider necessary, just, and American.

CYBERBULLYING Part III: The plan of extending benefits such as health insurance to "domestic partners does not mandate health insurance for all; but there is a mandate that all children must have health

insurance, and that there will be penalties for not having the insurance payable by their parents or legal guardians. Employers plan is devised on the argument that people cannot afford health insurance, so his plan is focused on changing laws and policies governing health care and insurance companies in order to force these organisations to reduce the overall costs of health insurance; and also the employers plan highlights the need for better support services and health & wellness and disease prevention methods. Explaining how someone like Human rights decided what is right and what is wrong redirects us to look at ethics from the following perspective: According to Steneck laws and rules were made to limit very bad behavior (33). Bad behavior is further limited by your personal ethics, which tells you what is bad and what is good (Steneck, 1984, 6). Thus some actions may be lawful, but still unethical. Unlawful actions are in the black area, good ones in the white area, and all in-between is in the gray area. Ethics deals mainly with this gray area between the definitive good bad and bad.
