Professional Experience:

I am currently working as Software Engineer, Project Assistance Group in

the Information Technology Department of M/s Visakhapatnam Port Trust,
Visakhapatnam, the First ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Certified Major Port
in South East Asia, from May 2005 to till date.

My Job responsibilities are Design, Development and Maintenance of New

applications in VPT Office Management. I am currently maintaining VPT Personnel
Management System (HR), Payroll Software and creating essential Reports which are
necessary at the Managerial cadre. Developing Management Review System for ISO-
9001, ISO-14001 & OHSAS-18001.

Having experience in Development of 3 Tier Client / Server & Web based

Applications. Specialized in Optimization of Queries in the Database and Application
Performance Tuning using TOAD.

Professional Achievements:

We a team of 5 members under my Leadership have Developed &

Implemented Personnel Management System & Payroll System for M/s
Visakhapatnam Port Trust which are major among other systems developed

of manual process of buying books through the Net and providing secured money

Project 2: Theme : Implementation of Controller Area Network.

Description : Controller area network (CAN) is a serial network that

was originally designed for the automotive industry. CAN can theoretically link up to
2032 devices (assuming one node with one identifier) on a single network. It offers
high-speed communication rate up to 1Mbits/sec thus allow real-time control. In
addition, the error confinement and the error detection feature make it more reliable
in noise critical environment.

which deals with Appointments to Retirements and covers activities like
Personal Profile, Increments, Promotions, Transfers, Trainings, Advance &
Loans, Time Management (Attendance Module). This System also includes
Court Attachment, Suspension, disciplinary Proceedings in accordance with
HR rules & regulations.

Project 5: Theme : Payroll System

Description : This Project is related to M/s Visakhapatnam Port
Trust Employee’s Payroll Calculation, which covers all Earnings and
Deductions. It is a packaged program with Stored Procedures & Functions
using Triggers & Cursors.

Exposure: I am having exposure to Application Performance Tuning using TOAD.

Having experience in writing Product Documentation for end-users. Training for
employees in HRD Center for HR & Payroll Modules. Testing the GUI & WEB
applications.
