STALIN and PUTIN

Soldatow Translated by Seraphim Larin In order to save the Communist government, Stalin utilized his secret police to gather up the terrorized Archbishops of the Russian Church so as to create his own Soviet church naming it the Moscow Patriarchate. He even personally selected the man who was to head this organization patriarch Sergius an individual who had already committed himself to the godless Soviet regime. While all the political operations were conducted in the name of the patriarch and his Synod, the true controller of these activities was an NKVD Colonel Karpov. Under the guise of being members of the MPs Synod, Soviet intelligence agents were left unfettered in conducting their destructive clandestine operations throughout the whole world ! After all, werent they pious clerics of the Moscow Patriarchate? Very few people living outside the Soviet rule, comprehended the fraudulence of the Soviet church and indeed Communism itself. As N.Berdiaev writes: The lie of Communism it is above all else, a spiritual and not a social fraud. Its very substance is a frightening lie that denies the existence of the soul, and rejects the spiritual creation in every person. The lie of Communism is a lie of the non-existence of God, and it is from this fabrication that all else emanates. Because godlessness cannot elapse without consequences, Communisms barbarity becomes understandable. Just as Apostle Paul predicted that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron. ( 1 Tim. 4:1-2). Consequently, neither grace nor anything that is good for the soul can emanate from the Soviet hierarchy. The Orthodox population was subjected to persecutions for their faith, many perishing in concentration camps. At the same time, the patriarch and his metropolitburo traveled the free countries of the world, proclaiming that in the USSR, there were no persecutions against religion. Nevertheless, truth will out and with time, people in various countries began to hear about these merciless drives against religion and their attendant gulags. Some believed what they heard, some expressed indifference to the plight of the persecuted, while the enemies of the Russian people were even delighted with the unfolding tragedy. Nevertheless, a pall of suspicion descended upon the Soviet clergy. While their appearances were greeted with politeness, a certain reserve

appeared among the host nations. There were instances where some Western countries expelled the visiting representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate. Having become full members of the ecumenical World Council of Churches, representatives of the MP started to fully participate in conferences and conventions. At the same time, the professional MP propagandists began to skillfully work among the spiritual representatives of other nations, redirecting their missionary endeavours. Instead of preaching Christs Teachings, the MP operatives diverted those members focus to social and material problems of nations, to the class disparities that existed among various peoples etc Under this Soviet influence and subtle guidance, the clergy members from the free world began to participate in pro-Soviet political machinations. Having laid the initial ground of the so-called theology of liberation, the MP apparatchiks started to promote Marxist ideas on the struggle of the working class against the capitalists and the overthrow of Western democratic governments, instead of the Teachings of our Saviour. Church pulpits resounded with rousing sermons about political struggles for improving the standard of living on Earth, and not with directives on how to save your soul or, about life after death. Exposed to this corrosive influence, humanity started to lose its antediluvian spiritual and cultural core. This resulted in a rapid deterioration of its underpinning foundations of civilization and morality. The subsequent declaration and legalization of equal rights to minorities, released the rapid spread of sexual perversion, which in turn lead to the emasculation of both the Protestant and the omnipotent Roman Catholic Church authorities. Upon ascending to power in Russia, the experienced Putin and long serving director of espionage also inherited the control over the Moscow Patriarchate. This control presented him with a golden opportunity: why not send his intelligence agents in the guise of spiritual figures to various parts of the world, where their outward identities would permit them conduct their clandestine operations without attracting undue attention? In order to make this maneuver more successful, he launched a programme to unite the Russian Overseas Church Abroad and her attendant Russian migr with the MP, thereby placing them under his control and legalizing his field of operations throughout the whole world. Unfortunately, an undermined ROCA was unable to withstand the neo-communist onslaught of bribery, sycophancy and outright blackmail, and quickly succumbed to his MP.

Fortunately, because of Gods mercy, there were some clergy and laity among overseas faithful that refused become a subordinate part of patriarch Alexis and his metropolitburo. They began to reactivate church life on the original ROCA beginnings, declaring that they will remain to the true precepts of the Church, and rejecting the betrayers of Christs Teachings that have become part of the MP. The pivotal role played by Putin in this unification can be seen not only by the initiatives that he displayed from the beginning of this entrapment, but by his personal zealous assistance provided to the Patriarchate over the past years, in seizing monasteries and parishes outside of the Russian Federation. On the 17th May 2007, when the unification was being celebrated in the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Putin violated Church statutes, custom and decorum by halting the Church Service to deliver a speech! His behaviour showed that what was transpiring carried a political and not a religious significance. Having gained control over the overseas parishes, the neo-soviet government can now develop its activities in areas where before they had no bases or logistical support. Putins various government instrumentalities are now in a position to extend their technical services and contacts through the compliant Patriarchate. The political substance embedded in the MP can be seen in its structure. The government officials in cassocks attached to the Patriarchate, have developed a series of sub-divisions within her, each with specific responsibilities, the most prominent being the security section that protects the patriarch and his metropolitburo. The security guards attached to this section are military service veterans, even though they are officially registered as students of theological academies and seminaries. They dress in civilian clothing, in cassocks or in pseudocossack uniforms. They are armed with small whips and side arms and have German shepherd dogs at their disposal. They are also fully trained in chemical weaponry, explosives and are fully conversant with electronics and computer technology. Within the MP, there is also a section that deals with documents/passports, which is capable (in emergencies) of issuing instant visas or extending them, to prolong stays in the RF of existing visas, to arrange invitations to foreign dignitaries etc There is also a system of files, containing a world-wide listing of all clergy and collaborators of the administration, pedagogues in religious schools and editors of religious publications. The cards are made up of personalized cards, each containing biographical data of the individual,

his political disposition, a summary and outline of his published works etc The 19th statute of the RF Laws embodies a list of individuals that are forbidden from entering any confidential association on a written contract basis. They are: parliamentary deputies, public prosecutors, lawyers, clergy and any authorized representative of any officially registered religious body. However, the law does permit such individuals to enter into voluntary associations, provided this is done on a noncontract basis. Yet RF citizens, people with dual passports and foreigners irrespective whether their residency is permanent or temporary can all engage in clandestine collaboration with the authorities! Once this is established, the individual is given a code name, method of meeting and sustaining contact determined, method and type of payment agreed upon etcThis highlights the duplicity of the whole system. Interestingly enough, ROCA archives contain(ed) assuming this would now have been buried by MP instances reported by their clergy that prior to the unification process, they were approached by MP representatives with compromising photos of and letters by them, with a dire warning that this incriminating proof of their indiscretions would be made public, unless they co-operated with the apparatus. At the same time, they were promised that their collaboration would be rewarded with assistance with their careers, periodic recreational visits to the Motherland etc Co-incidentally, once it became clear that the impending unity of ROCA(L) and MP will take place, suspicious and inexplicable events began to occur among the ranks of those who opposed this unholy fusion. First, it was the removal of the President of the Synod Metropolitan Vitaly, followed by the dismantling of the European Division of the Orthodox Palestinian Society, headed by Mrs.Kamenev; then the expulsion of members of the Executive Management of OPS in Palestine and America; unexplained illnesses and actual deaths of some individuals; incomprehensible behaviour of those with whom Bishop Grabbe had come to an agreement regarding the organization of measures to be taken in case of the unia being realized; the actual death of the Bishop and his sister, Anastasia Shatilova ( death caused by her fall from a ladder!); the fall from a ladder by a bishop that was an iconagrapher, who spent decades climbing ladders in beautifying churches throughout the world, etc There are many more examples of puzzling episodes involving opponents to the MP unification, all of which proved too intimidating for some of them, resulting in them giving up the struggle against the seemingly omnipotent Moscow Patriarchate. Apparently they likened ROCAs situation with that of the ancient Israelites and the Philistines. However, what they have forgotten is that

the Lord God was on the side of the Israelites, and that a youthful David emerged to kill the giant Goliath with his sling. It must be realized that the neo-communist government of the Russian Federation undistinguishable from the former one of the USSR is in fact an absolute evil that emanates from the devil. Just as young David was armed against Goliath and had God on his side, so has Overseas Russia the opportunity (armed with the help of prayers to God) to defend itself, by acknowledging that right is on the side of the righteous and not with the servants of satan. Thats why true Orthodox Christians invoke God with prayers: we will not turn back from You; Revive us, and we will call upon Your name. (Psalm 80:18). There will be those faithful in the Motherland as well as in the Overseas Russia that will refuse to accept spiritual ministrations from the enemies of the Church, appointed by the patriarch and his metropolitburo members, whose heads are: full of all deceit and fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness.(Acts 13:10). There is no marked difference between Stalin and Putin as both are agents of evil. One commissioned Colonel Karpov of the NKVD to control the activities of the Patriarchate, while the other is personally involved in manipulating it. Both stand condemned for their anti-canonical and antichurch actions. The following incident can serve as an example of Putins obvious influence over MPs behaviour. On the 8th of October 2007, after Bishop Gabriel, Secretary of ROCA (L) and Soviet Bishop Mercurius concelebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal church in New York, both visited the General Consulate of the Russian Federation so as to resolve with Consul C.Garmonin practical issues affecting the functions of both united churches! This episode invariably begs the question: what has a government apparatus to do in determining church administrative resolutions? Would it not be more appropriate if such religious matters were attended to by competent spiritual authorities? Alas, after unification, all of ROCAs actions are managed by Putins government.
