Organize for an Indefinite General Strike! Organize Labor, Black and Brown!

A General Strike can serve both as a shield and a spear in one. We must build a movement of spontaneous ability, of spontaneous action. A movement of simultaneity, a united fist - organizing all labor. A true General Strike. No longer shall we beg to ask what this system can do for us. Now is the time we must demand from ourselves and our class to bring forth a fight for the following: --A General Strike must reach toward strategic labor sectors sympathetic to our demands, this will largely come from Black and Brown workers in ILWU, SEIU, TWU - MUNI/AC Transit, BART, UFCW. We must target and fight for leadership in these sectors. --A General Strike must make it a priority to move against capitalisms injustices against the working class, and Black and Brown people in particular. Outreach with a program which can address largely Black and Brown Oakland/Bay Area. (Capitalism may now be referred to as it from this point on) --Any time they shoot us down we must shut it down. Oscar Grant, shot dead. Our answer must be, Shut it down! Derrick Jones. Kenneth Harding. Raheim Brown. Cops out of schools! We must be poised to defend our Black people against police attack! Disarm the police, build workers defense guards (WDG)! Build WDG community patrols. --A General Strike must be used to strike blows at all anti-immigrant organizations such as ICE. It must be poised to defend our Brown people against attacks! We must demand an end to the deportations! Free all detainees! Fight antiimmigrant attacks. For WDG squads to disarm and disband the Minutemen. Open the borders! --A General Strike must defend all those under attack. An Injury to One is an Injury to All! ILWU is under attack from PMA. Defend the ILWU! The ports are ours. Those who labor must rule! Sean Gillis, an EMT technician is under attack from the Oakland Fire Department. Defend Sean Gillis! The General Strike should demand the freedom of Fly Benzo, Hunters Point Leader! Drop the charges! Drop charges against all fighters arrested by police sweeps and raids on the encampment. --A General Strike should support the Pelican Bay prisoners hunger strike. Organize mass trips to visit prisoners and picket/protest. An injury to one is an injury to all! Free all political prisoners. For a prisoners committee to join our movement, disarm, disband the current prison system. To create a new system of true rehabilitation fit for human beings. --A general strike can organize healthcare for the people by taking control of hospitals and medical facilities. Healthcare for all! For all healthcare workers to be compensated in the form of food, clothes, shelter and work. For owners and other non-essential top staff , see Note 1. --A general strike must solve the education question. For quality, free education for all. Reopen all shut down schools. For student/parent, teacher, workers, control. All education should continue under the terms of Note 1. --A general strike must solve the housing question. All vacant, bank-owned property be organized by neighborhood committees to be surveyed for standards of livability, and made available to the homeless and dispossessed. A general strike must, with threat of action and organization, protect these committees, families and individuals involved in this process. --For all construction trades to be organized to sweep the land in repair of all buildings for the duration of a General Strike. For all building materials to be seized for this purpose. All material suppliers shall be compensated with food, clothes, shelter and work, but no privilege in the form of profit. See Note 1. --Build Tenants Unions, do not pay rent! A general strike must, with threat of action and organization protect these organizations, families and individuals. What are they going to do? Arrest us all? Moratorium on mortgages. Program for property owners and mortgage companies, see Note 1. --Unlimited Unemployment Compensation at Union wages with benefits for every single mother with children. For free, safe childcare for all working families. For all childcare employees to be paid at Union Wages, this must include family members involved in care taking. --Build a union of unemployed, where skill upgrade, and re-education can take place for employment in other areas of industry. --Build national and international committees to outreach and to look for allies. Why? The bourgeoisie (1%) will try to cut us off from receiving goods. Most of manufacturing industry has moved either to the South or internationally. --Small business owners should ally with us. See Note 1. --A general strike should provide food clothes and shelter, healthcare, education and protection for all, for the duration of the General Strike. Build for an Indefinite General Strike.

Note 1: All capitalists, business owners, and other top ranking officials, shall work and be compensated in the form of food, clothes, shelter, but not privilege, in the form of profit. In essence, all shall be absorbed in to the working class and a program to remove all traces of racial and class privilege shall be our added task in order that it is eradicated.
