Throughout your career you will develop and mature as a leader; it is a lifelong learning process. Central to becoming a good leader is the ability to apply the foundational knowledge and concepts found in Army leadership doctrine. This exercise will allow you assess that knowledge and aid you in determining what areas to apply further effort

Motivator

All good Army leaders understand, incorporate, and apply the leadership principles found in FM 6-22. You must do the same. During this course you will receive two evaluations that assess your ability to place these principles into action. This exercise serves as a self-assessment of your knowledge of the leadership principles you will apply as an Army leader.

Resource Requirements

Instructor Materials: TSP. PE-1, Leadership Knowledge Quiz (one per student). SPE-1, Solution for Leadership Knowledge Quiz (one per SGL). Any equipment required by the NCOAs SOP.

Student Materials: Advance sheet. Pen or pencil and writing paper. Any materials required by the NCOAs SOP.
Special Instructions

You will have 20 minutes to complete the exercise. Afterwards, I will review your answers with you (approximately 10 minutes) and answer any questions you may have.

Procedures

Answer the questions to the best of your ability. You may use your notes from the instruction and any other reference material associated with this lesson.
