Thesis Work
Project Name: Wireless Network Connectivity Measure (Mica Mote) Student Thesis Team Size :3

Thesis Description: I am currently doing my thesis in Halmstad University, Sweden. My Thesis work is to Propose and evaluate a method for how to measure the degree of network connectivity considering multiple links and hops between members of a group of nodes (interested to form a network). Each node or at least a preselected network master need to be informed about badly connected nodes that might risk losing contact or about a risky situation for the network as a whole. The measurement information needed for this should be gathered using a protocol using a minimum of communication activities and energy in relation to the speed of mobility. It might be one measure for an ordinary individual, one measure seen from the master and another for the network as a whole. The measures are to be based on available indicators (provided by the radio chip) of the radio signal strength and other reception quality measures (e.g., bit error rate, packet loss, etc) over a link. Fusion of several indicators can also be used for this base measure. Including me group of members is involved in this thesis work.

Project Name: Design of embedded and intelligent systems Team size :4

Project Description: Designed software for an Autonomous vehicle for transports in limited space. This Project is a combination of Embedded Programming, Image analysis, Control Systems and Communication Systems where I played the role of Wireless communication systems Programmer and contributed with all team members to accomplish it before time.

Project Name: Parallel Computing in Ambric processor Team size :2

Project Description: Developed a small Ambric project to parallelize a matrix multiplication of size 16 16, record the cycle count taken between applying of first input and when the first output was available in a table. This Project is for the basic understanding of algorithms in Parallel and Distributed Systems. Project Name: Real Time Networking Team size :2

Project Description: Simulation of Best-effort real-time traffic over a communication link by using Matlab. In this project i tested the performance of having an EDF queue with the case of having a FCFS sorted queue.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Presented a mini project on the topic Security Issues on WiMAX. Presented a mini project on the topic Integrating Technology for In-Vehicle Communications.

Computer skills
