SMART 3G VIDEO MAIL

Now Only SMART 3G Video Call is improved with Video Mail.
Video Mail service lets 3G subscribers deposit and retrieve a recorded video
message. When recipient cannot be reached, the call is redirected to the Smart
Video Mailbox. The service answers the call and gives the caller an option to leave a
video recording for the unavailable recipient. Upon message deposit, the service
sends a short message to the recipient notifying of a video mail in the
mailbox. Recipient can then call *3411 to retrieve the message.
Video Message can be retrieve within 3 days after receipt. A maximum of 3 video

Decode is a tool that simplifies the act of entering complex codes on a mobile
phone. The system allows cameraphones to scan specially printed codes, called
mobile codes or mcodes. These codes can represent web URLs, phone numbers or
instructions that include keywords and an access number. All you need to do is scan
and send! No more typing.
• How do I download DECODE?
Step 1: Text DECODE to 7888.

Step 2: You will receive a bookmark, decode.smart.com.ph. Click on the link to

start downloading the DECODE application!

Step 3: Depending on your handset, it will ask you if you would like to save it in
your phone memory or your memory card. Choose where you would like to
save the application and it will start the installation. You will find DECODE in
your phone's main menu.

Step 4: Open the application to start DECODE-ing!

• Can I download it on my N70?
Yes, you can! The Decode application works on more than 70 phone models,
including Symbian Series 60 handsets and J2ME-capable mobile phones,
including the Nokia 6600, the Motorola Razor and others. For more information
on the handsets that support Decode:

Visit the Decode wapsite at http://decode.smart.com.ph

Click on the Frequently Asked Questions link
Proceed to “What phones are supported?” for a full list
• How do I use it?
It’s so easy to use! Start up the Decode application and point the scanner
towards the mcode you would like to scan. Position the mcode in the center of
the screen. Once you’ve scanned the mcode and sent it, it will trigger the
transaction and you’re all set!
• What do the mcodes look like?
It’s a series of squares that are randomly generated to form a code that
contains information, such as URLs or contact information, such as a business
card.
• Where can I find the mcodes?
You can find mcodes everywhere! They can be printed on newspapers,
magazines, product labels, signs, web banner ads, business cards and even
scratch cards!
• How much will it cost to download? To use?
Currently, the application download is free. When you scan an mcode and
trigger an application, the charges will be based on the transaction type. For
example:
Polytone Download: P15.00

Mobile Payment Transaction: P1.00

We will be giving away free content during the launch, including free polytones,
mms wallpapers and logos.
