ethical enterprise and sustainable business development, based on meeting local
needs with local products and services.
We welcome specialists in the creative arts: drama, dance, music, arts and crafts
for schools, media, Social Enterprise, travel and culture.
The study programme is suitable for those who have read “Small is Beautiful” by
E.F Schumacher – a version in Czech is also available, translation by Nadia
Johanisova of Centre for Human Ecology.

On completion of studies graduates are invited to apply for full-time work, either
as an associate or independent Hub community member; you can specialise in
further study of human ecology, pursue independent travel, volunteer in Europe,
or even apply to train for a career teaching Yoga or meditation in schools,
community or workplace supported by SOL Community in Greece.

Nadia Johanisova’ s book “Living in the Cracks” talks
about economic alternatives to the communist and
capitalist systems and identifies social enterprise as:
“the only sound basis for a truly sustainable
economy".
