Some critically and gravely depressed inhabitants may sometimes have sleeplessness and lose interest in food and sex. Those in fact can effect greatly of quality of life and affect others around those types of individual. The individual with Depression sometimes start feeling that they failed absolutely failure, and be inclined to blame themselves for every predicament. Another mood disorder is Bipolar Disorder. This mood disorder can be both mania and depression are present, everyone knows it as bipolar disorder. For my interview I would like to interview a very close friend of mines, Daniel Korsea. We both current are out of the military now and are full time students. Daniel is an old Navy friend that I might while touring Japan together. He is an African from Ghana, West African man and twenty-nine years of age. He has recently got out of the Navy and started going back to school as a full time student. His little sister, Jena has recently been suffering from Depression and Bi-Polar disorder. There are many of times that Daniel feels a little responsible for my Jenas suffering: physical, emotional, and socially. I contain an interview with Mr. Korsea to see how he deals with having a sister with particular and complicated desires and how much does he really feel accountable to live his life and his sister too while juggling full time school too. In this interview, there are sequence of questions to see how he feels about his sister having Depression and Bi-Polar disorder and how does it affects his quality of life in the meantime. Also, to know how it feels about others think about his sister. Before I begin, Daniel, I would first would like to thank you for spending your time to do this interview I know you have finals this week as well. Well first question is When you first learn that your

brother was suffering how old where you, and how did you go about learning about your sisters misfortune? Daniel replied that he did not really comprehend that his sister was suffering until he kept seeing his sister was starting to become antisocial when he was 17 and she was 15. He really could not be aware of why Jena would not be present or refuse to go to the events his family would throw at them. Then she started asking himself questions when she did not even show up to her own 18th birthday party. He starting thinking how joyful and frenzied his sister was when she was smaller but know she is a completely different person from then to now. He started trying to spend more time with Jena to try to get a better indulgent of her daily routine and that is when he figures that she was suffering from depression. When she started going off on friends and family, he thought that she may also have Bi Polar Disorder. Now to my second question that I would like to ask, do you feel confuse or depressed because of Jena having Depression and Bi Polar Disorder. Mr. Korsea replied that at times, yes and he did feel confused and depressed. Nevertheless, a encouraging family and friends as well as some counseling from Dr. Watson, he has learn to keep positive and to look optimistic towards his little sister because he doesnt want her to get even more dispirited. You have to wake up and say to yourself that my sister maybe suffering in her own world but when she is reality to come back to the real world, I will be the first one standing there stated by Daniel. Ok, next question, What do you think when others think about your sister do they sometimes point at stare? Daniel responded by saying that we general ignores those type of people and feel that if they are that worried of what is going on they should have a helping hand. We usually act like any other people out there and most people dont really know you depress until you tell them, so it is only a need to know basic, said Daniel. Wow fourth and I hope that I am not taking up to much of your time but if Jena do you sometimes feel that she is withholding her real opinions and mind-set towards others . Daniel answered the single feeling that he doesnt want his sister to hold back is thoughts of suicide because I feel like he

she starts thinking about killing herself then she completely give up on God, us and most importantly herself. I do get irritated that I dont know what she is thinking when she is alone at night and I just pray that it is not thoughts of killing herself, alleged by Mr. Korsea. Well two more questions and I will let you go, Would you articulate your family to have an excellent and optimistic approach towards your sisters particular requests? He gladly reacted with, of course. Jena believes that her family has provided everything to make sure that she never feels unaccompanied, and that they constructed everything that she can survive not by herself but among close friends and family. He affirmed, Although Jena has many challenges s he is a vivid human being. She does everything that a normal person does like eat good foods and listen to her reggae music, and she loves to play videogames too. We go out to watch the latest movies or rent them at the local rental store. Just having her acting and reacting with others somewhat gives us hope that that or life is close to being as normal as everyone else in the world. As long as she socializing we are happy, Daniel happily replied. His little sister even has a job at Wal-Mart and is able to get a weekly income to spend her which gives her a lot more freedom and responsibility as well. Jena enjoys her new job and everyone at her workspace adores her. Jena now desires to have a husband and start a family as well. Which Mr. Korsea is happy to her such words from his little sister because it sounds like she wants a future. Now comes the final question that I asked Daniel if he felt taking accountability for his sister when there is no parents are there or passed way, would it affect your sister relationships that may happen in future. Daniel responded that there is rejection in any shape or form that would be a dilemma for her if she is able to do as long as she tries not to do everything or take upon everything by herself. He sense that when that day comes for him have a severe bond that the most imperative dynamic will be for his sister to consider to be at ease. I just want that person to comprehend the situation at hand and to be able to acknowledge his little sisters disorders.

During this interviewing Daniel, I and hopefully the reader have learn a bundle of information about his life and how to deal with someone in your family with Depression and Bipolar Disorder. I have learn and outside of a Psychology book but how thing work in the real world with people and their family with these disorder. It does make anyone more attentive about people that may by effect. Even though Jena may be a distractions, throwing little outburst, she goes to her comfort zone via the bedroom, which is the place she spends the majority of her time. Daniel does feel that people can transform, it just a matter of time and his sister will change when she feels ready to do so. He feels that his family and friends have donated growth of his feelings and character in which made him the person that he is nowadays. He also feels that she has an excellent attitude about life and helping his sister in the future. I tried to do the Myers Briggs test on Daniel but since he also had finals this week, we did not have time from him to do the test. He did state he could take afterwards because it seems interesting to do because he would love to see the results of the test. In conclusion, my opinion is that Daniel is has an enormous perspective on life when it comes to dealing with the challenges of his little sister, Jena. There may be people out there that do not understand how complex it can be with a person that has these disorders. Regardless, she is the same like everyone else out there and nothing different, just there are some challenges that she has to over herself. It may take an out of the ordinary person to grip and to live with person with Depression and Bi Polar Disorder. A person may have these disorders and it is no motive to not live a life and take pleasure in it just like everyone else. In the end, I believe that huge character is what makes an individual no matter what their diagnosis may be. I would like to thank Daniel Korsea for telling his story to me and the reader. I wish him good luck, him and his sister.
