Project#7 SCL – Services Component Life

Customer GE Healthcare, USA

Description Component Life (cLife) will create one common database for
GEHC components, thus enabling anyone to retrieve data from
any location, anytime, to analyze and compare results globally.
The CLife database and related web-based application should
be an automated tool, allowing 24x7 accesses to a global
collection of IB component performance data. The tool will
benefit GEMS by allowing rapid performance data turnaround,
providing predictions for component life, and providing
manufacturing with feedback on the impact of process variation
to detector performance.

Create a web-based application that is available throughout all


GEMS Poles that is comprised of two main components: data
capture/warehousing and a client interface to select, analyze,
view and report on the data. The data to be captured is related
to component life, which includes manufacturing information,
component life statistics, geographic information and usage
history.

Role
 Creating Mappings and Enhancements of Mappings.
 Creating the sessions and batch.
 Running the sessions both in Debugger and Server
Manager and Workflow Manager.
 Finding the problem and Fix the problem through

Project#5 True Use Tube Usage Tool

Description The True Use Tube Usage Tool is an Intranet based Data
Warehouse reporting and analysis tool that allows a wide
variety of customers to view and analyze actual usage on
tubes. The tube usage data will be collected globally for all
Insite enabled system. This will start building history of usage
but this will be tied in with Installed Base and contract
information from different poles. The major goals for this
analysis are
• In the short term identify billing opportunities for the US
service team for customers who are exceeding their
contracted slice usage.
• Vehicle to communicate with customer’s monthly, to make
recommendations for coverage changes per usage rates.
• True use volume for engineering, marketing and global
tubes analysis.
