Battery replacement
The clock radio has two battery compartments. The batteries in the small compartment on the rear side of the LCD panel are responsible for displaying the time and date, the ones in the bigger compartment on the bottom side for radio operation. So depending on whether the time display is not showing, or the radio doesnt work replace the batteries in the corresponding compartment. And this is how to do it: Changing the batteries for time display Unscrew the screw fixing the battery compartment cover using a small screw driver for recessed-head screws.

Remove the battery compartment cover and take out the batteries (if necessary). Insert two unused batteries (1,5V, Typ V10GA, LR54, not enclosed) according to the layout plan shown in the battery compartment. When doing so, you have to comply exactly with the correct polarity, otherwise the clock will not function and may get damaged.
