The program includes guest speakers and lunch on both Friday and Saturday afternoons. The NGO program will be under the supervision of the NGO Program Director and participating delegates will have the opportunity to represent a specific NGO. Each NGO will be represented by two delegates from the same school. Participants will prepare a five minute presentation on the mission, scope, and capacity of their NGO and will have the opportunity to visit several committees and make recommendations based on the policy and mission of their organization. Note: NGO Program delegates will only visit committees in one building per session and will be accompanied by a WAMUNC staff member at all times. Are you interested in participating in the NGO Program? ____Yes ___No

If so, how many of your delegates wish to participate? _______ **Delegates who choose to participate in the NGO Program will receive detailed instructions on how to prepare for the conference. Novice Committee WAMUNC XIV is proud to offer a Novice Committee again this year. Novice delegates will have the opportunity to learn Model UN parliamentary procedures in a small and educational atmosphere. The committee staff will offer constructive advice to each delegate. Both the novice committee and a non-novice committee will simulate the United Nations Development Programme at WAMUNC. This structure will allow experienced delegates to guide their less-experienced peers throughout the Model UN preparation process, although the two committees will debate separately throughout WAMUNC. Are you interested in participating in a Novice Committee? ____Yes ___No If so, how many of your delegates wish to participate? _______

Press Corps WAMUNC XIV is excited to bring back the Press Corps after a long hiatus from the conference. Delegates interested in journalism and public affairs will have the chance to explore each and every committee being held at WAMUNC and then share their findings with everyone at WAMUNC through a daily news letter. The Press Corps staff will be headed by an editor with extensive experience in public affairs and will assist delegates in their endeavors. The structure of this committee is significantly different from that of others in that a significant amount of time will be spent observing and reporting the events surrounding the conference and sharing their discoveries instead of engaging in heated debates and resolution writing as other delegates will be doing. For delegates who are considering public affairs or journalism in their higher education or are simply interested in them, this committee is one well worth considering. The Press Corps is through delegate application only. The application can be found on the WAMUNC website on the How to Register page under the Registration tab. Please have your delegate fill out this form and return it to you, the faculty member, and submit it along with this form.
