THE STUDY The study is about how many people participate and have some knowledge about derivatives strategies

The area of study is limited among only on services and business class people. All the respondents were positive in their responses to all question of questionnaire still

has been tried to collect information on all aspect & to match accuracy to fulfill the objective of study. Datas were collected only one point of time past records was not taken into

consideration. There, trends etc. have not been possible to analysis. Despite all above limitation senior efforts has been made to obtain the maximum

authentic data from respondents.

THE SAMPLE: The sample size of survey conducted of Derivative strategies a grey area for Indian retail investor would be near about 130 respondent

SAMPLING UNIT: It is defined as how many individual person having a knowledge about derivatives and do trading in derivatives market while using the derivative strategies. SAMPLING TECHNIQUE: Regarding sampling technique, the convenience or accidental method of sampling was adopted. The respondent accessible at ease; at right time and right place was selected. This method of sampling is suitable because of limited resource of time and money.

TOOLS: FOR DATA COLLECTION

This was the most important part of the study. Only on the primary sources of information was used for the research. A field survey was done to collect the data. People were approached and the idea behind approaching is to get a realistic situation, correct information and also the views of the maximum responses. Moreover this method is considered to be superior to other since the answers are giving on the spot without taking any help from others. Beside, it is not based on judgment and institution as in case study, but on actual data collected and is therefore more accurate generalization. QUESTIONNAIRE:

The questionnaire that I have formulated contains both open ended and close-ended question. In this questionnaire the question that I have formulated are based on a set. A set contains age, gender, class & question regarding topic that I have taken is related to the preferences of the readers.

FRAMING THE QUESTIONNAIRE

The accuracy and relevance of the data gathered depends heavily on the questionnaire. It is a formalized scheduled to obtain the records specified and relevant information. The following points were kept in mind designing the questionnaire.

To give the respondents clear comprehension of question. Include the respondents to want to co-operate and to trust that answers will be treated

confidentially. Stimulate response through greater introspection. Give instruction is wanted and the manner of responding. Identify what needs to be known to classify and verify the interview.

FOR DATA ANALYSIS:

The data obtained from respondents will be first edited and valid responses will be used for purpose of analysis. All data collected will be represented in tabular and graphic form, which will make understanding very easy, and all the conclusions and analytical statements will be based on these graphs. The statistical tools are also used in this research
