The Reproductive Health Bill

Reaction Our country is facing a major crisis in the society today which is the massive growth of population. Many people says that these case is probably hard to avoid because, so far many people especially teenagers are engage to primarital sex. As we usually see, especially on the squatters area they are fund of having many children even if they cannot provide their children the life theyve wanted to. And those teenagers who have early pregnancy though it is not the write time for them to be pregnant. These are some of the cases which affects the number of population here in the Philippines, that is why the government provide a quick solution which is suitable for couples who are not yet ready to face the life of being a parent. They introduced the world of contraceptives in the form of pills, condoms, injectibles and many more here in the country. By means of contraceptives married couples or even young couples will help them to control continues birth of a child. These program or product may easily control the avoidance of massive growth of population, these may also help people avoid the spread of many diseases that is caused by sexual intercourse. But on the other hand, instruments that enables birth control does bad effect on the mentality of many teenagers, as mentioned above many teenagers are engage to primarital sex and by means of these instruments or the contraceptives primarital sex will just be tolerated. Are you pro or anti on the promotion of reproductive health bill? On my own perspective, RH (reproductive health) bill has more disadvantages than advantage. One example that shows negative effect of Reproductive health bill is the one mentioned above which is the tolerance of primarital sex. To further explain, tolerance because many young couples and teenagers will take advantage on those contraceptives and see sexual intercourse as a thing to satify their sexual needs and to have pleasure. Because of this tolerance they willl not also treat sexual intercourse in a

sacred way. That is why the church is not infavor on implementing the use of birth control and contraceptives. Based on the part of the church these contradicts to the rule of the Bible because this avoids the gift of giving birth and having a children. And in the case of spreading many diseases like AIDS these can be prevented if they will do the right thing by means of having only one partner. So far, many people already adopted this kind of way in preventing the increase of population although it is not accepted by the catholic church. Many people are now into these kind of instrument to prevent the massive growth of population, many people or even teenagers use these kind of product. Many companies uses television ads as a tool to encourage many consumer to purchase, for me they advertise this kind of product for those married couples. But isnt it also a tool to encourage those young couple to use their product. Many couples are engage to these birth control program by the use of different contraceptives but the number of population here in the country is still increasing. For me, the avoidance of the societys major problem doesnt depend neither on what instrument couple use nor what program they are into but how we discipline ourselves for the betterment of our society. Based on my reaction it isclear that Im not infavor on promoting birth control here in our country so that many people will learn how to discipline themselves especially in terms of intimacy. For me these is the key to prevent the increase in population in our country.
