Bachelor of Science in Mechanical engineering

program objectives The objectives of the Mechanical Engineering program are aligned with the overall mission and goals/ objectives of Abu Dhabi University. The Programs mission is to provide students with a premium education through a well-prepared curriculum; to equip the graduates with knowledge and skills to successfully practice mechanical engineering in the workplace; to pursue postgraduate studies, and to provide them with the awareness of the current and emerging industrial. the following four program objectives will satisfy constituents needs and fulfill the programs mission:
1. Produce qualified mechanical engineering graduates with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to successfully serve public and/or private sectors in both national and international industries. Produce graduates that are capable of designing, analyzing, testing and implementing mechanical systems and processes. Prepare graduates for success in multidisciplinary professional settings with awareness and commitment to their ethical and social responsibilities, both as individuals and in team environments. Prepare graduates who meet the industry expectations in terms of communication skills, ability to function well in teams, use of modern engineering tools and commitment to life-long learning and professional development practices through students participation in industrial internship experiences.

1 Electives : Six courses of electives are required and could be chosen as follows: at least three courses from one of the four Mechanical Engineering Elective themes as shown in Table 18 and the rest are free electives from any approved University courses. three courses from one Mechanical Engineering Elective theme and three from another Mechanical Engineering Elective theme.
