Descriptions
Indoor Installation
Rack Installation Rack Should be fixed vertically and fixed to the floor tightly. According to the floor type, you should use the proper bolts, anger bolts, nuts, spring washers, flat washers etc. No all bolts fixed Correct way:

Remark: Before start to install the equipment, We have to confirm whether the rack is installed properly or not.
1.2

1.2.1

Equipment Installation Equipment should be fixed accordance with the rack layout in TSSR and it should be horizontal. All the four bolts available in the installation accessories should be used. RTN600 Installation Have to consider the location marked in TSSR rack layout and check whether that location is available or not. Then install the equipment horizontally using all bolts as shown below

1.3

Power cable routing Power source for the equipment, for the reference here is taken as APM200. According to the TSSR Power should be tapped from the power source.

Power cable from APM Power cable Should be taken from the APM from the primary (within 1-3 terminals) and within(10-11 terminals) Correct way of termination in Wrong Termination in APM APM power.

1.3.2

One is from the Primary(1-3) Power Tapped from 10th and 11th and other one is from the (from tertiary(10-11) common terminal Power cable routing to cabinet from APM Power from the APM should be routed to the cabinet using GI pipe. And this GI pipe should be laid out properly and neatly according to the standards. Wrong way of GI pipe Good way of GI pipe routing Routing

Remark:
Have to consider the following issues, when you route the power cable through GI pipe GI pipe should be fixed with the wall or floor very tightly

Open area to get the power cable should be closed with rain proof GI pipe size should be according to the requirement. It should not be very big or very small and also not longer or shorter Layout of GI pipe should be very neat and accordance to the standards. At the outlet all the cables should be taken out using flexible PVC.

Grounding the GI pipe When you route the GI Pipe have to consider the Grounding of GI Pipe.

Method 1: The Grounding Horse clip should be tighten with the GI Pipe and It should be connected to nearest grounding bar Method 2: Drill the GI pipe and fix the grounding bolt and fix the other end to the Grounding Bar. Remark: If the Black horse (GI coated PVC pipe- Black Color) is used, the inner metal shield will be grounded using the same horse clip.
1.3.3

DCDB termination DCDB should be fixed as the two common working ground bus bars (0V common bus bar) are at bottom as shown in the below photo. When You terminate the Power source and outlet for equipments, have to consider the following issues. 1. Each power Source cable should be separately terminated and breakers should be separated for 1+1. 2. Power source cable should share the power to the other breakers using common bus bar. 3. And the cables for equipments should be taken from the other side. Example of correctly installed and terminated DCDB Remark: 1. Make sure -48V cables(Blue) are routed through the breakers

2. Make sure that, there is no main breaker that is isolated from the other breaker. 3. Make sure only one equipment is terminated in one breaker 4. Make sure the effective 1+1 distribution.

1.3.4

Power cable routing from DCDB to equipment Pay attention the following: 1. DCDB termination should use the code end terminals of the power cables 2. If it is 1+1, both cables should be routed inside the rack (Should use the left side of the rack) from the DCDB and bound up neatly and tightly as shown below.

3. Dont cross the power cables with signal cables as well dont twist the

Cable ties for indoor and outdoor:

3.1

Common issues in fixing Cable ties Bundling The bundling requirements are as follows: 1. Do not bind the power cable with other types of cables. 2. The cables should be bundled neatly. 3. Use cable ties of different specifications according to actual circumstances. 4. Do not connect two or more cable ties and use them as one to bundle cables in case the tightness is reduced. 5. After the cable ties are fixed, the extra part of the cable ties should be trimmed such that no burrs exist. 6. The spacing between the cable ties should be even and should be three or four times the diameter of the bundle. 7 When making turns for bundled cables, ensure that the bending radius is as large as possible so that the cable cores do not break.

Step 1: Clean the connector or the grounding clip. Step 2: Uncoil the waterproof insulation tape. Step 3: Stick one end of the tape to the IF cable 2 to 5 cm away from the connector or the grounding clip. The sticky side should face inwards. Step 4: Stretch the tape until it is 3/41/2 as wide as its original size. Stretch the tape in this manner when performing the following steps. Step 5: Wrap the cable spirally towards the connector or the grounding clip at a point that is 2 to 5 cm away from the connector or the grounding clip. Make sure that the overlapping area of the adjacent tape layers is 1/2 of the stretched width. Step 6: When the tape reaches a point that is 2 to 5 cm away from the connector or the grounding clip on the other side, reverse the wrapping direction so that the tape reaches the starting point. Step 7: When the tape reaches the starting point, reverse the wrapping direction so that the tape reaches the other ending point. That is, there are three layers of waterproof insulation tape. Step 8: After wrapping, squeeze the tape until it sticks to the cable. This ensures that there is no air between the layers of tape. Step 9: Similarly, wrap three layers of PVC tape over the waterproof insulation tape. During the wrapping, maintain the stretched length such that the width of the PVC tape is to 1/2 of the original size. Step 10: After waterproof processing, use the outdoor bundling strap to bind the PVC tape tightly at the positions 1 cm away from the wrapping edges at both ends, to prevent aging and falling off of the PVC tape.
