pendant; whose eyes are big as to be spreading up to the
a;k5Rd7`Rnyn' mi5ku∞2l;1œ' ears wearing the jewelled rings and whose forehead has a
comely musk mark. Her smiling face appears very
mNdiSmt' mOgmdoJJvlf;ldexm9 00!00 captivating.
2. I concentrate early in the morning on the svelt-creeper
p[ ;t.Rj;im lilt;.ujkLpvLl7' like comely arms of Shree Lalita Devi whose hands are
r†;©ul7ylsd©uilpLlv;1œ;m9 0 bedight with the red ring worn on her fingers and with the
jewel embedded gold bangles (on the wrist). Her hands
m;i5Kyhemvly;©dxo.m;n;' hold the bow made of the sugarcane of red variety, the
arrow made of flowers and a cumulus.

3. I bow early in the morning to the lotus-like soft feet of
p[ ;tnRm;im lilt;cr5;rivNd' Shree Lalita Devi which readily grant the devotees desires
.†¸¢d;ninrt' .visN/upotm9 0 and are like the veritable firm ship to take one across the
sea of mortal existence; which are ever adored by the
p¿;sn;idsurn;ykpUjn7y' lotus-seated Brahma and other leaders of the godhead and
which bear the comely and auspicious mark of the lotus,
p¿;˚ux?vjsudxRnl;Hzn;1œm9 00#00 the cumulus and the flag.
4. I hymn early in the morning to the virtues of Shree
p[ ;t" Stuve prixv;' lilt;' .v;n7' Lalita Bhavan, whose very appearance ensures supreme
+Yy'tve¥iv.v;' k®5;nv¥;m9 0 welfare to all and the glory of her resourcefulness is
copiously described by the Vedas and the Vedant-
ivŒSy sOi¢ivlyiSqithet.u tU ;' philosophy; who is pure and pious being of auspicious
form and who is the root cause of the creation,
iv¥eŒr7' ingmv;ºns;itdUr;m9 00$00 maintenance and destruction of the entire world. She is the
presiding deity of all knowledge and whose full glory is
unfathomable even for the Vedas, speech, and mind.
5. O Goddess Lalita! I chant early in the morning with my
p[ ;tvRd;im lilte tv pu∞yn;m voice your sacred names: Kameshwari, Kamala,
k;meŒr7it kmleit mheŒr7it 0 Maheshwari, Shambhavee, Jagat-Janani, Para, Vagdevi
and Tirpureshwari.

knowledge, riches, all kinds of happiness and infinte
