script gasland hello and welcome. in this podcast we will be talking about the movie Gasland.

directed and produced by james fox released in 2010. this movie won different awards and nominations. this moviee focuses on Comiunties in the United states which are affected by natural gas drilling. Particularly known as hydraulic fracturing. so what is this movie about it is about United states where president barack obama tries to overcome terrorism and saudi arab oil production. where he wants to prove USA as superior and independent nation. well back to the movie this guy josh fox is offered one hundred thousand dollars for his land..but he dienes the offer and tries to investigate the problems caused by hydraulic fracturing. people in states are forced to drink dirty and oily water. they cannot take shower neither can do laundry. moreover fire burns from the tap water as it is mixed with different chemical substances and natural gases.\\\

so what is hydraulic fracturing.lets have a look at this small animation. lets assume this is a natural gas drilling pad site. beneath the pad site a vertical welbore is dug deep inside the earth shell.. the welbore makes a turn and forms into a horizontal welbore. after it is dug deep enough the welbore is taken out and another pipe is inserted with a cement casing. again drill bit extends the welbore and digs further.. once again another pipe is inserted and cement casing. then a fracturing device is inserted which creates small fractures. after fractures are created.. frac fluid mixture of sand and water is added allowing natural gas to flow through the welbore. so should I watch this movie YES go for it its eye-opening movie look at natural-gas drilling and its potential dangers. With its jolting images of flammable tap water and chemically burned pets, Josh Fox's makes an irrefutable case against U.S. corporate "fracking." It's a powerful film. It's shocking, it's hilarious but most importantly, it's eye-opening.

Usa wants to prove itself leader of the world.. so it tries to take over saudi arabia for oil. scientist responsible for overuse of fossil fuels.. they made it simpler to use in everyday life of people..
