2. Our Customer Service roles require you to be flexible, working varying shift patterns. The minimum
shift is 3.5 hours, and you must be able to work most evenings and weekends. The Theatre is open from 9am to 11pm (with some additional late night events), and you should bear this in mind when detailing your availability. 1) What skills and qualities do you have to enable you to deliver consistently excellent customer service at the NT? When answering this question you should consider the skills and behaviours listed in the person specification, and try to give examples of how you have demonstrated these in previous jobs. Please be as specific as possible, as we will assess your application solely on the information you provide. 1. As a regular visitor I have a real enthusiasm for the National Theatre and a good knowledge of the theatres facilities and products. I would bring this enthusiasm and knowledge to the role, allowing me to promote the shows and products to the best of my ability. I have previous experience working as a retail and admissions assistant at The Imperial War Museum. When both working on the shop floor, and at the admissions desk of the museum (greeting visitors, answering queries and selling guidebooks) an ability to remain calm and friendly in very busy situations was essential. This skill has also been demonstrated in my last job at a very busy caf, where the ability to multitask quickly and work efficiently within a team and on your own initiative was critical. Both of these roles were very customer orientated and so confident communication skills, and the need to be

approachable, friendly and informative were very important. I have good financial awareness, having experience of cash handling, and have diverse skills in retail, museum front of house, and caf/bar work. I am always punctual and reliable, have very flexible hours, and have experience in delivering excellent
