Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments

Teachers design, develop, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessment incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context and to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes identified in the NETSS. Teachers:

design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity.

b. develop technology-enriched learning environments that enable all students to pursue their individual curiosities and become active participants in setting their own educational goals, managing their own learning, and assessing their own progress. c. customize and personalize learning activities to address students' diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources. d. provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching. The age of the target audience will vary, but it will be people in the mid-twenties and older. The learners will consist of people from many different cultural backgrounds like in a normal class room. The learners will have completed their college courses at this time and will already have their teaching certification. The learners will be new to technology and how to utilize it in the classrooms to better teach their students. The learning styles will also be varied much like it will be when the learners teach in their own classrooms. I will use inquiry and ask the learners if they know how to use smart board technology in to better the learning experience of their students. I will show how they can use many different learning styles with just this one piece of equipment. I will show that it will help cater to different students and make it easier for each student to learn. I will express to my learners how this can make the classroom a more entertaining environment for them and their students. My objective for this project will be to help teachers unfamiliar with how to use a smart board in their class room use it to their full advantage. I will teacher the learner the basics of the smart board and different ways they can use this technology in the classroom. The learner should be able to hookup the smart boards and know how to use a variety of different tools to make the classroom more

interactive. They should be able to bring up videos, quizzes, games, etc. The learners must be able to show they know how to use the smart board by bringing up a video, game, or making a quiz relevant to their subject. A learner must be able to do this and explain how they will use in order to reach a degree of satisfaction.
