Ten African-based MSPs recognised in MSPMentor international top 100 survey

Press release issued by African Dune Johannesburg, 21 Feb 2011 Ten African managed service providers (MSPs) made it onto the globally respected MSPMentor list for 2011. Two are in the top 100, while the remainder are in the top ten category for Africa. All of these use Kaseya's automated managed services solution. Last year, only one African company was on the top 100 list, proving that the continent can very definitely hold its own internationally. In the top 100, Integr8 IT ranked 5th, while last year's star, Netsurit, came 59th, which is no mean feat considering many of the companies that made it last year did not feature in this round. Competition is also heating up: an ever-increasing number of MSPs enter the awards, and Africa is certainly taking the MSP world by storm. Migrating a hybrid of technologies onto a single platform, based on Kaseya technology, has allowed Integr8 to continue its delivery of innovative, bleeding edge services via a more seamless and integrated platform. This has allowed for true scale that seamlessly crosses geographical boarders, introducing global organisations to the brightest minds in the industries, via a single point of contact for managed services and tier-3 24/7/365 support. We are proud to be associated with Kaseya and their world-class team, most notably Garth Hayward and Jacque van der Merwe, says Robert Sussman, joint CEO of the Integr8 Group. Netsurit has also gone from strength to strength. With more entries than ever before, to be ranked among the top 100 globally is impressive. According to Orrin Klopper, CEO of Netsurit: We are delighted to be recognised for the second year in a row. We continue to invest in our managed services competence, and it is encouraging to be listed with some of the best MSPs in the world.

The fourth annual MSPmentor 100 survey ran 7 October 2010 through to 17 December 2010. Participation was free. Instead of ranking MSPs merely by total revenue, a decision was made to calculate an index measurement using such metrics as overall managed services revenue, overall managed services revenue growth, percentage managed services revenue growth, managed services revenue per employee, number of devices managed, and other data points comparing fiscal 2010 to fiscal 2009. This index approach ensures small, midsize and large MSPs from around the world are recognised on the MSPmentor 100. Garth Hayward, Regional Manager for Kaseya Africa, says: It is extremely gratifying to see that all of the African MSPs that made it onto the top 100 are using Kaseya's solutions. This is what we, as a company, are all about. We work tirelessly to ensure our IT service automation platform helps our Kaseya 'community' grow so incredibly well and quickly. In the category of Africa, all 10 are Kaseya users and we strongly believe in partnering with them to ensure they go from strength to strength. Next year it would be great to see the top 10 overall being African companies. Hayward adds with a smile: Or even all 100. Of the top 100 MSPs recognised internationally by MSPMentor, 55 use Kaseya and two are African companies.
