Job Description for the position of a Junior Business Analyst (SE)

PROJECT RELATED COMPETENCIES

Analysis and Solution Definition.


Understands project business requirements Analyzes project business requirements. Documents and analyzes information and data identified in the project business requirements. Prepares requirements specifications, business processes flows for review meetings with the client stakeholders. Assist Developers & testers in requirement interpretation

Testing

Defines test conditions based on the business requirements. Develops accurate and complete test approach and plans. Documents the test cases based on the test plans. Conducts testing according to plan. Identifies and documents system deficiencies and does root cause analysis (RCA).

Project Execution

Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback. Understands the necessity of project standards and applies them consistently. Develops internal and external meeting objectives and agendas. Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.

Capability Contribution Active participation in Capability Building activities like Competency Building , Knowledge Management , Pre sales support , Case studies & sales collateral presentation

Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.

Technical Recommendation and Testing


Leads testing efforts. Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Works with client personnel to identify required changes. Communicates needed changes to development team.
