-------------------------------------------------------------------------------It was a cold and crisp Autumn morning.

The five people made their way through t he leaves lying on the pavement. They crossed the road and made their way throug h the hustle and bustle of King's Cross Station. "Alright Al, you and James go through the barrier first," Their Father gave the two eldest boys their instructions,"Lily, your mum and I will follow you through ." The two boys wheeled their trollies over to the stone pillar. To the muggle e ye this may look like an ordinary pillar..The eldest boy, James, made sure nobod y was looking in his direction and he leaned casually on the cool stone and vani shed through to the other side. His brother, Albus, done the same and joined his brother on the other side of the barrier. A few moments later, their Father, Mo ther and little sister Lily came through the barrier. Platform 9 and 3/4's was filled with steam and the noise of worried first years, shouts from parents and squeals of joy as other students saw their friends once again. When the steam died down, the scarlet steam engine came into view. The H ogwarts Express. Their father stopped and hugged his two boys and kissed his dau ghter. "James, please try your best and stay out of detention this year. I don't want t o visit Professor Flitwick again," Their father, Harry Potter, said. James grinn ed. "Can't promise anything Dad, See you at Christmas!" James shouted and hopped on the train and waved to his Mum and Dad. Lily and Albus joined James at the windo w and waved goodby to their parents. When the Steam engine pulled away from the station, they went into their different compartments. James went to join his cou sin Fred Weasley, who is also known for getting into trouble with various teache rs. Lily went to her friends Carly Grey and her cousin's Roxanne and Hugo Weasley. A l didn't know where to go. Scorpius had prefect duties. How Scorpius had managed to be a prefect was beyond him. Al was walking down the aisle looking for an em pty compartment. He came across a compartment that would've been empty except th ere was a girl sitting on her own with her nose in a book. The girl looked up an d Al saw her warm, honey brown eyes. She let out a small gasp and closed her boo k. Al didn't know what else to do so he just waved. She tilted her head and wave d timidly back. "Al! C'mere, we need your help!" James called from the compartment across the wa y. Al turned around before glancing back over his shoulder to look at the girl s itting alone in the compartment. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------"Tilly! Tilly!" A girl with light brown hair burst into the compartment. "What is it Sarah?" The girl called Tilly asked, a bit annoyed at being interrup ted for the second time but she shrugged it off. "Guess who I have prefect duties with?" Sarah said, bursting with excitement. Ti lly sat staring at her. "Oh come on Tilly guess!" Sarah begged sitting down beside Tilly. Tilly simply s hrugged.

"Scorpius Malfoy," Sarah squealed. Tilly blocked her ears. "Oh wow that's great!" Tilly said, trying to sound enthusiastic even though she didn't really care. "I saw that Artemis Potter boy looking at you through the window," Sarah said wi th a smirk. "It's Albus. Artemis is that strange boy in Hufflepuff that collects Honeydukes sweet wrappers," Tilly said tracing the illustration on her book with her index finger. "Oh yeah, he is a wierd one alright. Although I must admit that collage he showe d me last year in Charms was quite the work of art," Sarah said, nodding. Tilly raised her eyebrows. "Alright, well I'm going to get changed. Talk to you in a few," Tilly said and S arah waved. Tilly wasn't watching where she was going and she bumped into someon e in front of her. "Oh I'm so sorry!" Tilly exclaimed. She looked up at the person she bumped into. "Oh it's fine," Albus said fixing his glasss. Tilly saw his spectacular green ey es. They both stood there for a few moments before Tilly broke the silence. "I need to get changed, I'll see you in school," Tilly said looking down. Al nod ded and Tilly proceded into the bathroom. Al slapped himself. "Alright there Al?" Al's cousin Fred asked as he came up behind him. "What? Oh yeah, Fine," Al said. Fred looked to the bathroom door, looked back at Al, winked and walked off. "Git," Al muttered under his breath. The Hogwarts Express pulled into Hogsmeade station and all the Students hopped o ff the train, a few first years being trampled in the process. Tilly jumped off with her friend Sarah in tow. "Did you see Scorpius at all since that meeting?" Tilly asked, watching her frie nd turn crimson. "No, I haven't. But it's ok because we get to spend two hours together every Thu rsday!" Sarah stated. Tilly laughed. "Sarah, I hate to dampen your mood but isn't he dating that girl Rose Weasley?" Tilly asked. Sarah's face fell. "Not for long," Sarah said and continued walking. Tilly laughed and followed her best friend. The sorting took longer than usual and Tilly could see James Potter on the verge of falling asleep. Sarah was staring at the Slytherin table. Tilly rolled her e yes at her friends antics. Sarah has fancied Scorpius Malfoy ever since she saw him board the Hogwarts Express back in first year. Before her eyes, piles upon p iles of food appeared in front of her. Sarah reached for the potatos while Tilly reached for the roast chicken. After dessert was served, and the students had e aten so much they could burst, everyone went up to their Dormitories. Sarah was leading first year Ravenclaws up to the common room and Tilly was one of the las

t to reach the Ravenclaw common room. The bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle asked her a riddle. "My voice is tender, my waist is slender and I'm often invited to play. Yet wher ever I go I must take my bow or else I have nothing to say. What am I?" Tilly thought about this for a moment before answering. "A Violin," She said. The door swung open revealing a spacious blue and silver r oom. Sarah was giving advice to the first years along with the other Ravenclaw p refect Stephen Quinn. She gave Tilly the thumbs up and Tilly smiled at her frien d and proceded up to the fifth year Ravenclaw common room. Sarah came up a while later and plonked down on her bed and let out a content sigh. "Scorpius finally agree to snog you?" Tilly asked causing Sarah to squeal in fri ght. "I thought you were asleep!" She shrieked, Tilly shushed her and gestured to the ir three other Dorm Mates. "Oops," Sarah whispered,"And since you're wondering, No he hasn't agreed to snog me. He will once he sees how much prettier, funnier-" "You forgot louder-" "Than that Rose Weasley one," Sarah said, ignoring Tilly's remark. "Ok Sarah, Night" Tilly said, turning over. "Night Tilly-kins," Sarah said. "Stop calling me that." "No." Tilly threw a pillow at Sarah and shortly after the two girls fell asleep.
