UNDERTAKING Whereas, I ________________ am the lawful owner of house No.

__________ situated at Falcon Complex ___________ (hereinafter referenced as the said house. And I had applied to Directorate of Housing, Air Headquarters, Islamabad (hereinafter referred as the Dte and the expression shall include Assistant Director Housing (Detachment)/Works in-charge Engineer or any officer duly authorized by the Dte to act as its representative) for permission to carry out the following modifications/ alterations/construction, etc, in the abovementioned house: (a) Proposed Renovation / Alteration List Attached. (b) Architectural Plan Attached. And in consequence thereto, the Dte has approved the following variation/modifications / alterations / construction / deviation, etc (hereinafter referred as the approval) at the said house: (a) (b) Now I _____________________ the lawful owner of house No. _________ situated at Falcon Complex ___________ do hereby solemnly affirm. i. That I shall only carry out aforementioned variation / modification / alterations / construction / construction / deviation etc at the said / house strictly in accordance with the approval accorded and conditions if any imposed, by the Dte. ii. That I shall acquaint myself and strictly observe all the By-laws of the Air Force Housing Scheme and Community Rules, particularly those relating to constructional specification and regulations and abide by all these by laws regulations, rules, specification, approvals, restrictions etc. iii. That I or any person acting on my behalf in whatever capacity, shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the approval and matters related thereto as notification by the Dte, ADH (Dett), Works in-charge Engineer or any person acting on their behalf. iv. That the work under the aforementioned approval shall be completed by me, within the reasonable time. v. That I case of any deliberate, inadvertent or otherwise unauthorized/ illegal variation / modifications / alterations / construction / deviation etc is initiated carried out incorporated, effected etc , in any manner whatsoever, then the Dte shall have full and absolute authority to demolish, rectify alter remove or regularize in accordance with the rules / specification, etc the said unauthorized and illegal, variation / modifications / alterations/ construction / deviation, etc entirely on my risk and cost and I shall be bound to pay all the expenditure incurred thereon. -: 2 :vi. That in of any deliberate, inadvertent or otherwise unauthorized/ illegal variations/ modifications/ alterations/ construction / deviation etc is initiated carried out, incorporated effected, etc in any manner whatsoever, then the Dte shall have full and absolute authority to impose any penalty on me in addition to the demolition, rectification, alteration, removal or regularization of the said unauthorized and illegal unauthorized / illegal variation / modification / alterations / construction / deviation etc. And I shall promptly pay the said penalty pay the said penalty to the Dte without any delay. vii. That I shall in case of delay in payment of the penalty, pay a 10% compound surcharge, per week, on the out standing amount, till the time the penalty and the surcharge thereon is paid in total, to the Dte., that, the Dte. shall have absolute authority to incorporate, initiate, implement etc any measures, as deemed appropriate by the Dte, during the course of the requisite demolish, rectify, alter, remove, etc, viii. That I shall have no objection whatsoever to the measures so initiated by the Dte during the course of the requisite demolish, rectify, alter, remove, etc. ix. That I shall indemnify the Dte of all claims for injury caused to any person, whether a workmen or not, while in or upon the work or the site of the same due to any cause which includes natural calamity i.e., earthquake, floods, war, etc, and the Dte shall not be liable to defend any claim. x. That I shall be responsible for the conduct of the workers engaged to carry out the requisite demolish, rectify, alter, remove, etc, and ensure that the work is carried in a smooth and orderly manner without any disturbance to the neighbors or any hindrance to the residence of the vicinity. xi. That I shall inform in writing to the Assistant Director (Dett) of all the material; equipment, stores etc being brought inside the Falcon Complex by me and shall be solely responsible for the safe keeping of my stores, I do further solemnly affirm that the declarations made by me in this undertaking are true, it conceals nothing and that no part of it is false.
