How to Handle Pets

When you get a puppy or a kitten, learn how to hold it properly, for example, support it with one hand under the body and the other around its shoulder. The pets should be cradled in your arms. Do not hold it too tightly as this can hurt them. If the pet is too big for you to cradle, then it should not be picked as you may accidentally drop it. Many puppies and kittens suffer from broken limbs as a result of this. Grabbing the puppy or kitten by one leg may injure it. Puppies and kitten are like children, they need a lot of sleep. Therefore, they should not be disturbed when asleep. They do not like being disturbed and may scratch and bite you. The most important tip is not cause pain to the pet. A dog, a cat, or a hamster may not bite on purpose but if threatened they may bite to protect themselves. Always wash your hands after handling your pets and should not allow them to lick your face. Reflection: After the lesson, I found that there is some strength and weaknesses that I think can be discussed. For strength, I found that I was good in classroom management, where I was able to control the class and managed to establish good relationship with the pupils. It is very important for me to make sure that I was able to control the class in order to make sure that the lesson will run smoothly. I also was able to create teaching aids which were suitable for the lesson and objective specified. Teaching aids are very important for teacher because it help teacher to achieve the lesson objectives. It is important to make sure that the teaching aids are suitable with the class and objective of the lesson. Creating teaching aid which was not suitable for the lesson can be such a waste. The main weakness that I found was my question technique. I still need to work on my questioning technique. During the class, I found that the class was more on teacher- centered. Perhaps for next time I should try to use a good range of question to test the pupils understanding. I also will be able to give better feedback if there were more questions directed towards the pupils. The second weakness that I found is the reward for them. During the lesson, I forgot to give praises for them when they answer questions. For next time, it is important for me to give praises for them. This may increase their motivation to learn. Motivation is an important thing that teacher need to develop in their pupils. Pupils need motivation in order to success in their live because motivation gives reason for pupils to learn.

As conclusion, I had learned important things from the lesson. The lesson had taught me that motivation can be one main factor for pupils to success. As a teacher it is very important for me to develop the pupils motivation to learn. The lesson had realized me that I still need to work on my question technique, since it is still my big weakness.
