Before Installation, please make sure t that the power of DVR is switched off. If you install 1 SATA HDD, you must connect a master cable to the HDD (master cable is located ne to CDR/W driver port). ext
Step1.MakesuretheDVRpowerisswitchedOFF Step2.OpenthetopcoverofDVRusingacrosssc crewdriver. Step3.TakeouttheHDDmountingplatefromDVR. Step4.PlaceHDD(s)onthemountingplateandmountitwithscrews. Step5.ReplacethemountingplateintotheDVRandfixitwithscrews. Step6.AttachthedatacableandpowercabletoH HDD(s)correctly. Step7.ReplacethetopcoverofDVRandfixitwith hscrews. 2.2.3.2.DHCP&IPAddressSetting ToassignanuniqueprivateIPaddress toDVRinyourintranetenvironment automatically,youcanenableDHCP optionintheNetworkSetupmenuof yourDVRandyourRouter.Inthis case,youcanskiptheprocedures describedonthispage. WerecommendassigningIPaddress toDVRmanuallytoprevent to DVR manually to prevent unexpectedchangeofIPaddress.

IfyouhaveanyproblemwithDHCPfunctionorwa anttoassigntheprivateIPaddress,pleasedisable DHCPoptionintheNetworkSetupmenuofyourD DVRandcheckthestartingandendingIPaddresses usedbyDHCPserveroftheRouter.Youcanassign nanyprivateIPaddresstoyourDVR,ifitisoutofthe DHCPrange.ButtheIPaddressshouldbesamew withtheoneinNetworkSetupmenuofyourDVR.

ProtocolTypeshouldbeTCP.Private/PublicPortnumbersshouldbethesamewiththePort numbersassignedinDVR.Youcanchangep portnumbersinNetworkSetupmenutoavoidconflict withothernetworkservers. YourDVRuses2portnumbers.Thedefault tPortnumbersare9310and80.9310isfor controllingthevideoandaudioofNetViewe controlling the video and audio of Net Viewe and 80 is for Web Viewer You need to register both er,and80isforWebViewer.Youneedtoregisterboth er portnumbersintotherouterasnetworkser rvers. Pleasemakesure thatyourrouterdoesnotblock thoseportnumbers to/fromtheDVRwith fi ilterandfirewall features.
