Server Members using the CSS and TF2 server have been asking to have the server opened up with perks for paid members so they are not playing against bots. Plug-ins have been configured and the server team have been waiting on permission to open up the server to more people. A months trial period where the server will be free to use, with donate buttons around to keep the server running. Rhys Short has requested if Apache and MySQL/PostgreSQL can be run on the server to allow better customisation of the website and have a better database to make door procedures quicker. Event Sam OHara has the float sorted, Liam Edwards has given a list of equipment required from the committee. And a plan of action was discussed. Due to Rhys Short being unable to make the 5 oclock meet up time, Ben Mayne has been put in charge of Health and Safety until he arrives. VPN Dave Haenze reports that it is possible to have the VPN run from the VPS, SSL will be enabled as the server will generate its own keys. Friday Nighters The committee has decided to end its involvement with Penbryn Firday Nighters due to lack of interest from the students. Motorsports Santhosh Kannan has contacted Aber MS and their initial reply just read Hey however Santhosh Kannan did get a vague answer back agreeing with the principle, Santhosh Kannan will invite Aber MS to join a Committee Meeting, where the matter can be discussed.

Ben Maynes Position Title Ben Mayne has asked for an official position title that he can use when referencing his time with ACOG, as a result of some brain storming the committee voted to have Ben Maynes official position to have the title of Aberystwyth Community of Gamers Liaison Officer . RocSoc Keiran Russell Informed the committee about the events at the RocSoc event the previous evening. There were many issues one of them was that they had issues with setting up in the Angel due to organisational problems. Concerns over Nick Brooks Nick Brooks has apologised to the committee about conduct on socials. Due to his work commitments with University he has given clarity to the committee over the work he has carried out, the committee agreed that at the start of the year he had been working too hard. Nick Brooks has apologised for how things currently are. Nick Brooks suggested that he would stand down if the committee felt this was needed, however this was rejected. It was decided instead, that giving Nick Brooks a nudge to refocus was needed. Ben Mayne has offered to be the mediator in problems that occur in the future. Nags Sponsorship Sam OHara has passed on all information to the new owners of the Nags head, which he will be following up in the next few days. Hoodies Hoodies are going to be pushed at the event in order to get them ordered as well as being pushed via e-mail. December Event December event will be booked by Liam Edwards for the 8th if possible. Christmas Meal Take up amongst the members have been generally good with 18 currently paid deposits. However it should still be pushed. Lisa Newton will be contacting the members who have paid deposits to select what they wish to have. The next social will also contain the menu so members can see what is on offer.
