ABSTRACT

Our project objective is to develop an office automation system which will support our entire polytechnic office. It simplifies the office staffs work trouble-free. It is useful to adding or removing or modifying staff's & salary details. We

can store particular staff detail & salary details using vb.net. We are using a database to store and retrieve the values easily. Using search option to search particular staff detail & salary details also. We are using print option to print the particular staff salary details.

Microsoft Office Access is a pseudo-relational database management system

from Microsoft It combines the relational Microsoft Jet Database Engine with a graphical

user interface and software-development tools. Engine. databases. Access is supported by Visual Basic for Application, an object-oriented It can also import or link directly to data stored in other applications and Access stores data in its own format based on the Access Jet Database

programming language that can reference a variety of objects including DAO (Data Access Objects), ActiveX Data Objects, and many other ActiveX components.

Uses of access: It is used to create simple, as well as complex, database solutions. It can be used both by novices and professional developers.

PROJECT DETAILS
This project is about office automation system, which made the office staffs work easy. Our project consists of several modules. The one of our module is staff management. In this we store the staff personal details, designation, etc. we store it in the database and retrieve it. We also give the search option, used for easily find out the particular staff details. They also have the option to remove and modify particular details of the staff. Another one module is staff salary management system. In this we can maintain the salary of whole staff details in the database. They can retrieve it easily using the program code we done in the project. This module contains forms income tax, professional tax, gross salary, deduction salary, net salary etc. In this we calculate this by the manual entry of some details. These two modules are combined and we gave the option for printing the individual staff detail or their salary detail.

If they want also take the group of salary details in printing option. So that our project will give the good solution for the office staffs if they find the manual entry of the details is difficult.

The interview conduct by our secretary, Principal, committee members to them

Then they will select the well qualified candidate for staff and make list

Finally publish if to the DOTE

Then compute the CCA, HRA, MA, Others value and add with DA

Then compute the Gross Salary based on basic pay add with Grand pay and Divide the DA

Staff get Gross Salary is equal to DA add with compute the CCA, HRA, MA.

DEDUCTION SALARY

Staff select the Id_No or Name in the Deduction Salary

In that previous process is called deduction salary

Then calculate the PF(S), PF (A), INST.NO(PF), INS,FBS,SPF,SS,GUILD,FA, INST.NO (FA), RENT, P.T, IT and Others

Net amount is equal to deduction salary add with gross salary
