RIGHT OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT

Right to Education has been recognized. However, the real problem is lack of employment opportunities for the growing population. Unemployed youth get frustrated and resort to anti-social activities. It is their right to get employment. It is our failure that we are not able to use our manpower properly. We must now enact a law for RIGHT TO VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT. Vocational education includes skill based training. It can be any skill even skills like carpentry, photography, cooking, animal husbandry, plumbing also come in this meaning. We must impart skills, which can help a person in securing job. Earlier, there were joint families and skill training was imparted in family. A person would learn carpentry in his own home under his grand parents. Now, joint family system has given way to nucleus family system and therefore it is the responsibility of the government to provide skill based training. The government must ensure that there are large number of technical training institutions all over the country and every youth gets a chance to get some training at least. 10 point programme 1.establish as many technical institutions as possible.

2.convert traditional colleges and institutions into modern vocational institutions 3.encourage private sector to come forward and set up vocational training institutions 4. subsidise vocational training institutions and enable people to get the best technical training possible at lowest cost 5.identify newer skills required as per changing demands of industry and technology and start training academies for them 6.it should be compulsory that every youth must get at least one vocational training 7.vocational training institutions must get in collaboration with industry so that they are able to provide trained youth to the industry 8.the vocational training institutions must get quality certification and accreditations 9.there should be mobile training units to impart short duration vocational training in rural and remote areas so that youth in those areas can get training at their own centres 10. local artisans, craftsmen and artists may be encouraged to form their own training centres, which should be supported by the government for 10 years, so that these training centres can preserve the folk art and craftsmanship. I have written hundreds of such papers and
articles (purely academic), if you intent to read or publish or circulate these for wider circulation, please feel free to contact. It would be my pleasure to help other institution builders and to share my knowledge and expertise in spreading institution building across the globe
