ABOUT CIB: CIB is the worlds foremost organization for construction researchers and practitioners. It was founded in 1953 to encourage, facilitate and develop international cooperation in building, housing, planning research, studies, and documentation . CIB brings together professionals from a broad spectrum of building organizations worldwide. The unrivaled collection of expertise of its almost 500 members is channeled through a network of international working commissions whose subject matter extend over virtually every area of building and construction.

SYMPOSIUM AIM: The primary aim of the conference is to afford the opportunity of which researchers, academia, professional and government officials may exchange ideas on how the construction industry, through innovation and sustainable practices can enhance economic growth in the developing countries.

THEME: The international symposium theme is on innovation and sustainable construction. The sub themes are: Innovation in construction Sustainable construction practices and cost effectiveness Construction workforce and productivity Building information modeling (BIM) Innovative project delivery system Construction safety management and quality Project management and quality construction. Construction industry development entities within developing countries. PROGRAM:
We expect to have about 200 delegates from different countries for three and half days of presentations, worships and debates on how the construction industry can facilitate economic growth in developing countries.

REGISTRATION: The conference registration fee is $200 and includes conference materials, the Welcome Reception on Monday, Opening Reception on Tuesday, and the Conference Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening, and a copy of the conference procession. All fees must be paid in USD. funds.
