Learning Objectives
After completing this course, the student will be able to: Describe IP convergence and its relation with LTE and IMS Sketch the EPC architecture and describe the components that make up the EPC as well as related interfaces Sketch the IMS network architecture and identify the role of key components as well as interfaces Step through the key IMS scenarios of IMS registration and VoIP call Describe the IMS services architecture and role of ICS, RCS, VCC, application servers, etc. Describe the interworking of IMS with existing services based on WIN/CAMEL Step through the interworking of IMS with non-IMS networks such as PSTN Explain the role of the PCC network to deliver QoS Step through a call scenario using LTE-EPC and IMS framework
