Floor Oil Arboritec Floor Oil Sprint is a hardening urethane oil for finishing wood and parquet floors, suitable for normal or heavy wear. Arboritec Sprint gives the floor a natural and beautiful shine. In order to minimize fumes, the product is nearly solvent free. Colors Arboritec Sprint is available in natural and white pigmented finishes. Application The surface to be oiled must be carefully sanded, dry and free of dust and dirt (humidity quota must not exceed RF 10%). Use G100 or finer for the final sanding. 1. Apply the oil generously using a white rubber squeegee or roller. 2. Re-distribute the oil from non-absorbing to absorbing areas during approx. 25 minutes. 3. Work oil into surface using a machine buffer and red disk pad, excess oil is wiped off to avoid stiff and glossy patches. 4. Apply another coat if needed until saturated. 5. Wait 2-3 hours before a final polishing with red or white disk pad. 6. Allow floor to dry for at least 24 hours, without wear. NB! A danger of self-ignition exists in contact with organic materials (e.g. cotton cloths, sawdust, absorbing insulation materials etc.), due to self-drying oil content. Rags and other organic materials soaked in oil have to be put into water immediately after use, in order to avoid self-ignition. Maintenance Dry mopping is recommended but when needed,water and Arboritec Wood Soft Soap or Arboritec Cleaner may be used. Maintain periodically by using Arboritec Maintenance Oil. See Arboritec Maintenance instructions. Always follow the directions on the Material safety data sheet. Clean-up, Spatter and other tools are cleaned with Arboritec Oil Dilution before the oil has dried. Health and Environment Arboritec Sprint is not classified as hazardous to your health or the environment. Usual precautions for handling chemical products should be observed: Ensure adequate ventilation. Use protective goggles and gloves. In case of skin contact,wash thoroughly with soap and water.
