Comments: Cory really got to know the children in the class. He was very patience and respectful of their needs. Comments: When Cory and I would discus activities that he has done he has already reflected on the lesson. I would give suggestions and he would try to use the suggestions in another activity he would do. Sometimes he would change what he is doing during an activity if he needed to. Comments: Cory sent notes home each day to the parents to let them know how their child was doing in class and he also, sent letters home to let the parents what topic they were going to be studying about. Cory was in charge of a field trip, Fall Fun Day, Halloween Party and having the firefighters come to school. He made sure to let each family know what was going on and asked for help when he needed it. BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL: NAEYC STANDARD 5 6. Comments: Cory has done such a great job here and the staff and children has really enjoyed having him here. I came right in and got started on his first day and helped out when and where he could. He took over the class early and did a great job.
