Behavior Observation Report Client 1 a) Demographic variables The client observed was a Chinese man in his 30s, working

g as a chef at Chinese diner in a local food court. b) Physical Description Client appears as a simple man, dressed in shirt, trouser and comfortable footwear appropriate for his working environment. His hair was cut short, and he also wore an apron that we can see as an important element considering his role in the diners kitchen. Though hes not smartly dressed, his overall appearances still shows that cleanliness is been given an importance. c) Affect and Mood Client appears as a rather quiet person, though we are not completely sure it is actually a part of his real personality or it occurs as a result of his demanding workloads. Throughout the two hours observation, he barely speak except the few times with fellow workers and by the expression of both ends, it was about works (orders etc). Clients expression also seems calm despite the hectic surrounding and nothing of his behavior indicates that he might feel an inconvenience doing the task in hand. d) Behavior During the course of 2 hours, clients behavior was only slightly varied and it also noticeably following the same pattern. That includes standing at his worktop preparing order for most of the time, once in a while goes into the kitchen and few times when maybe there is no incoming order, he sits at the chair that was put nearby and read a newspaper.

Behavior Observation Report Client 2 a) Demographic variables The second client observed was a 5-6 years old local girl, accompanied by her mother and younger brother having a meal in the fast food restaurant.

b) Physical Description This client, just like typical girl her age, wearing a bright colored gown and sandal with her hair pulled back in a tidy ponytail. Her height is about 100cm, not too skinny and has a brown skin. c) Affect and Mood Client appears in a good mood by the cheerful expression on her face. She talks to her mother and the conversation was involved an eye contact and hand gestures. Client also shows an apparent curiosity by asking a lot of question to her mother. d) Behavior This girl also possesses a good behavior. While her mother gone to order their foods, she sits at their table and look after her little brother. After the foods arrived, the mother was once again gone and in the meantime, she started eating and feeds her little brother as well. An interesting thing was that, she will feeds her little brother first before took a bite for herself. This simple act indirectly shows that this girl is not being selfish by taking care of other people ahead of herself. During the absence of the mother, this girl seems at ease as if she is well aware and ready for the responsibility of looking after her brother is in her hand thus she needs to be calm and take the charge.

Behavior Observation Report Client 3 a) Demographic variables The third client observed is a white female tourist in her 30s who has a blond hair which secured using a scarf. b) Physical Description This client wearing a knee-length cargo pants, pink striped top, sandal and had an average back pack like those tourists usually carried. Client is a rather skinny person. Among the crowds which dominated mostly by the local, client seems a bit peculiar considering her foreign looks and also her outfit.

c) Affect and Mood Client appears anxiously wanders among the crowds and the uneasiness is obvious on her face. By her expression, we can assume that she is searching for someone. As minutes passed, the uneasiness increased and her expression somehow turned into annoyance. d) Behavior As predicted, client was waiting for someone and the waiting is troubling her. Her annoyance can be seen by her sour expression and fidgety. She also glance her watch many times which shows the person shes expecting is indeed running late. It also noticeable that during the waiting, she looks around her as if shes not sure from which entrance the person she waited will appear. This is consistent with the fact that she is a tourist thus she doesnt really used to the place layout. However, the period of observation ended before the person she waited arrived so what happen after that is uncertain.
