Why install this Update

The HiQube version 6.0b84 includes several new features, enhancements, and fixes. Some of the key new features include: Ability to change a published node, report, or URL via macros. Support for the Getnavigator() API on the Web. Drillthrough and drilldown support in Delta Drill charts. Macro APIs to specify and record the initial drawing mode for Delta Drill charts. You can set the drawing mode to ABSOLUTE, PERCENT, or BOTH. An updated Dojo Javascript library. Updated HiQube Web APIs to perform 'xpath' queries. You can set URLs in the publishing tree relative to the HiQube installation by using the HQURL alias. Absolute paths are not required. Ability to attach a callback function to the setMacroVars and executeMacroScript Web APIs. An AJAX request made within the callback of another AJAX request will be executed first, as its priority is now set higher than an already queued AJAX query. HiQube German GUI message strings have been updated to support HiQube end users from the German locale. HiQube Italian GUI message strings have been updated to support HiQube end users from the Italian locale. HiQube Korean Desktop and Web GUI strings have been updated to support HiQube end users from the Korean locale. Please note that you must have the Batang font file installed on your computer to display the Korean currency symbol in the HiQube charts or reports exported to PDF. Ability to retrieve Web Server logs at the Info level such as concurrent connections, reports accessed by the users, and the number of LM-X license server tokens drawn is now enabled.

Support for the ranking (sorting) amongst the bars under each individual rank when there is more than one legend present is now available.

Filtering of the Row and Column of the published qube by sub-levels is added on the Web client. The sub-level based filtering Context menu is now available on self-linked dimensions.

Ability to search for elements in lists by keying in the search text on the Browser of the Navigation panel and in multiple Selection lists on the Web client has been added.

Issues Fixed in This Release

The HiQube 6.0 update resolves the following issues: Resolves an issue with the difference in the text alignment of the Toggle widget between HiQube Desktop and Web versions. (230320) Resolves an issue with the parameter icon% of the PublishingCreateBegin() macro not working as expected. (230717) Resolves an issue with the the help_file$ argument not working as expected in the AskString() macro. (230711) Resolves an issue with the On-demand Totaling aggregation not working as expected when you use an Enumeration list. (230606) Resolves an issue with the spool error caused when you try to delete rows using a Selection list in a table having totals applied. (217464) Resolves an issue with HiQube shutting down when you create a list on a table that has been locked by another instance of HiQube. (229022) Resolves an issue with HiQube becoming unresponsive or extremely slow on deletion of all the rows in a self-linked table. (225041) Resolves an issue with the DrawSetSize() macro not working as expected. (222814) Resolves an issue with the drillthrough option on the bars of a Ranking chart that does not capture values of the Legend dimension when there is more than one Legend present, and the order and number of bars in each rank is not same as that of the Legend. Resolves an issue with the Option widget in the Web version not working as expected when it calls a Tabular report. (227619)

Resolves an issue with the drilldown option in the Bar Line chart legend not working as expected if they are Null value legends. The drilldown option in the Bar Line chart legend does not work as expected when the legend has NULL values, as the NULL value legends are filtered automatically and are rendered invisible. (229493)

Resolves an issue with the drilldown support not working as expected in Delta Drill charts in the HiQube Desktop and Web versions. (175675)

Resolves an issue with the Drillback menu item (drilldown support) and the Drilldown right-click menu item not being available in the Delta Drill chart. (229722)

Resolves an issue with the logging of the report name and GWU usage for the Web version. (229548) Resolves an issue with the missing label of the browsing dimension of the Delta Drill chart in HiQube Web version. (225554)

Resolves an issue with HiQube shutting down while expanding a qube that has no rows in its dimension. (229347)

Resolves an issue with the data format in the Tabular report not working as expected for color codes. (219656)

Resolves an issue with the deletion of the virtual row from the Appearances tabbed page not working as expected. Deleting the virtual row from the Appearances tabbed page does not delete the corresponding row from the Highlight tabbed page. (221511)

Resolves an issue with the definition of SCALE=PANEL in the Panel structure of the chart that does not perform the 'Save' operation as expected for the Text, Button, Label, Option, and Calendar widgets. (225544)

Resolves an issue with the differences in Menu and Toolbar options on opening any database object by double-clicking or right-clicking and then selecting Open. (210184)

Resolves an issue with the few rows not being imported into tables if you import the data into tables without removing the totals in the table. (if new level=0 items match with existing level=1 items). (217244)

Resolves an issue with HiQube becoming unresponsive when you use a non-browsable dimension in the getnavigator() command. (227191)

Resolves an issue with the Option widget not working as expected in HiQube Web version, when you define SCALE=PANEL. The text inside the Option widget does not adjust to the panel size in HiQube Web version when you use SCALE=PANEL. (232573)

Resolves an issue with the overlapping of items in the Option widget list in HiQube Web version. (232575)

Resolves an issue with the Ranking chart not retaining the style of its parent bars during drilldown. (227182)

Resolves an issue with the sorting or ranking the bars of the Ranking chart and the Drilldown category as well. (20227)

Resolves an issue with the support of the Getnavigator() navigation API in the Web version. (224836 227481)

Resolves an issue with the filtering of the Row or Column dimension of the Context menu of a qube, by sub-level in the Web version, when a self-linked table is used as dimension for either Row or Column dimension. (227611)

Resolves an issue with the state of the chart (Drawmode) now being retained in the Delta Drill chart during the session with multiple concurrent sessions.

Resolves an issue with the Drilldown and Export to PDF options with two concurrent sessions, where the PDF export generates the last accessed chart from the other session.
