Lesson Presentation
Introduction/Motivational Activities/Anticipatory Set: The teacher will show the students his or her own created prezi. The students have already begun learning about the plant cycle in previous lessons.

Detailed Teaching Sequence: (Provide sufficient detail that would enable a substitute to effectively present this lesson. Bulleted statements are preferred) After showing the students his or her own created prezi the teacher will explain that the student will be creating their own prezi that will help them to show what they have learned in the unit. The teacher will explain that they need to have included at least two pictures, one YouTube video and have two main ideas off of the main topic. The teacher then will walk to the students over to the computer lab. Guided Practice/Independent Practice/Assessment Activities The teacher will ask the students to log onto their computers. Once all students have logged onto their computer the teacher will ask the students to open their internet browser and type in the prezi sight that is shown on the projector. Once all students have opened up the prezi sight the teacher will walk the students through creating a prezi username and password. As each student creates their username and password, the teacher will walk around and write down the username and password for each student. The teacher then will walk the student though how to pick their background which everyone will have the blank background. The teacher then will show the student how to add text to the prezi and how to change the size along with color of the words. Once all students have shown they can add text along with change the size and color the teacher will allow the students to work on their own creating their life cycle of their plant prezi. Closure: The last ten minutes of class the teacher will ask the students to click the save button on the prezi page. The teacher then will ask the students to log off the computers. Once all students are logged off the teacher will explain that tomorrow they will continue to work on their prezi sight but tomorrow they will start to clump the ideas into groups. The teacher will also explain that tomorrow he or she will show the students how to add YouTube videos and pictures.
