THE KINGDOM VS NEW JERUSALEM

God has designed and built a city,wont you want to see it?
This is the conclusion of a year -long series titled the church of the living God. So much has been preached and written about the kingdom and I will not labour over all of them except the points relevant to this article. New Jerusalem on the hand has very little written about it, maybe because many dont know what to say in addition to it being a city. I hope and pray this blesses you. The Kingdom is a domain with God as the king and with influences being administered by Jesus and God the Holy Spirit. The purpose is very simple; to extend what happens in Heaven to the Earth. It took God about 4000 years to manifest this through the birth of Jesus in the flesh. He came to demonstrate that kingdom here on earth and taught those who taught others who taught us. It comes with tremendous power, righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. It comes complete with everything needed from an alternative source from this realm but manifesting in this realm. Every Christian is expected to be fully functional in this kingdom. Its supernatural, extraordinary and real. If you want to understand how to function, study what Jesus taught while he was here on Earth; love God, love others, pray and operate in power. Jesus was the first to refer to this city by telling the disciples he was going to build us a city in heaven. New Jerusalem is our final destination after the thousand year reign in Heaven. A city designed and built by God for us, wow! That must be a city to behold, a city to live in. Rev 21:10-24. The kingdom was activated here on earth when Jesus came; it gave us the ability to operate in the supernatural and to control our elements. If you are a child of God who has accepted Jesus, then this realm is available to you today. When this heaven and earth is rolled up like a garment and a new one is enacted then we will live in our final address and reign with Jesus on earth for eternity. Rev 21:5-7. There is a book that has a list of those that will make it to this city; its called the book of life. God has made it clear what the parameters are. Rev 21: 8 But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liarstheir fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulphur. This is the second death. In these days of strange doctrines across the pulpits, I have deliberately gone for the last book in the Bible to quell any argument. Rev 21: 27 Nothing evil will be allowed to enter, nor anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonestybut only those whose names are written in the Lambs Book of Life. Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle. He has repeatedly implored us to be alert and to work our salvation with fear and trembling. Irrespective, many preachers are still exciting the people about the fact that Jesus has done it all and they dont have anything to do. If that message was true, then all Christians will make it to heaven and yet I know thats not true. Shalom.
