in/the-7-cs-for-success-in-any-organization/ Name of the reviewer: Sagar Singh Chauhan Name Of the Article: The 7 Cs for Success in Any Organization Name of the Author: Victor Pinedo, Jr. The author talks about the various ethics and strategies people follow in businesses and organisations, one approach being hierarchical elitism which follows survival for the fittest sort of actions, where each person tries to scratch their way to pinnacle of the organisation. In such type of approach those left behind are often exposed to felling of disgust/defeat which of course is not a ethical manner. The other approach seeks the support of all the members of the organisation and thus help build up a better working environment and a healthy competition and also resulting in better managers and leaders, which often increases the chances of success. The author lays down some basic competencies which for a ethical, maturing organisation can act as a booster for success, these competencies being interconnected therefore help in the overall development of the organisation. The first competency being CONFIDENCE, author insists that every member of the organisation must instil within him/her the feeling of self-confidence so as to mature along with the organisation and also thereby help understand the basic needs of the organisation; such things will eventually help the organisation perform better in the operations and strategic fronts. COMMITMENT being the second competency plays a very important role, according to the author the organisation must be crystal clear about its ideas and standards, while it is also necessary that everyone associated with the organisation must have the feeling of belongingness and also values of the organisation must be integrated in its members. While CO-RELATION helps generate high esteem, productivity and exponential growth, on the other hand CONNECTION creates prospect pull i.e. the idea of the organisation manifesting itself and thereby pulling everyone together so as to create a sort of force which will guide the organisation through. COMMUNICATION is the most important aspect of the organisation which when used in open setting ,flows without trouble and rapidly. The author also states that by providing right communication tools ,people can be provided with all the relevant information. CELEBRATION AND COURSE CORRECTION according to author acts like giving a new life to the organisation, while author states that celebration even little success is as much important as a big one, also the organisation must always be ready to learn from its mistakes and thus for the betterment change the course when it feels the need to do so from its path so as to achieve success and thereby avoid obstacles.

The author considers that CARING is the ultimate factor that helps in achieving goals, thus each organisation must care for its employees and members, for one should never take the human capital for granted .

Review 3 http://www.goarticles.co.in/productivity-and-motivation-improvement/ Name of the Reviewer: Sagar Singh Chauhan Name of the Article: Productivity And Motivation Improvement Name of the Author: Mathew Kulas The author starts the article with a question,Does non conventional offices(that are equipped with Ping Pong equipments etc. ) boost the productivity and employee morale? The author while giving example of GOOGLE Inc. states the present situation of many employers who get jealous of the work environment of the foresaid organisation which has jazzed up its offices with amenities like billiard tables and gymnasium. While there is no answer as such in general for improving the productivity of the employees according to the author, he says that good leadership is of utmost importance for the proper and better functioning of and organisation, for it is upto managers to find new ways to motivate employees, while furniture and the decor is just a small part of the bigger plan. Also as the author advocates that encouraging pool tournaments wont help the organisation to leap towards its goals, they are eventually just the monument of what the organisation want its image to be portrayed as. As author writes in his article that many organisations have asked him to re-design their offices in some unconventional ways thinking that such actions will result into exemplary results, but this is all in vain.Today many organisations have come to believe that addition of funzones to their offices will increase their productivity but author takes his stand on this as he clearly argues against it. Giving example of a sales department that he recently designed in Dallas based on the principles of Feng-Shui ,he states that though it increased the excitement among the employees but the theory of one office idea fits all was found to not have functioned well in this case as each employee has his/her own preferences.
