Americas Musical Ride

TM

The annual broadcast of this event, produced by Creative Center, will feature the pageantry and superior horsemanship of some of the worlds most accomplished horsemen, equestrian organizations and world-class musical rides. As a top priority, Americas Musical Ride will donate ten percent of its yearly net profit to the International League for the Protection of Horses (ILPH). The ILPH provides education and training programs to improve horse welfare in the developing world. It also operates rehabilitation and rehoming centers in the United Kingdom. Americas Musical Ride is presented by the United States Army and will feature the worlds most prestigious equestrian organizations (more than 80 horses), including The Household Cavalry (official mounted escort of Queen Elizabeth II), The US Armys Blue Devils Horse Platoon, The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, The London Metropolitan Police Mounted Branch, the Field Artillery Half Section (the Army's last horse-drawn artillery unit), the Commanding Generals Mounted Escort (Fort Riley, Kansas), Cavalerie Ere-Escorte (Queens Cavalry from the Netherlands), a full symphony orchestra and choir, and celebrities from motion pictures, television, sports, industry and government. Additionally, beginning in 2006 in Los Angeles, each years broadcast event will include a major horse trade show. The event will be broadcast exclusively by The Horse Channel, the exciting new television network dedicated to equestrian sports and lifestyles. Apropos the star talent for the show, as of this time we are not in contract negotiation with specific celebrities. However, we have established a preliminary list of star talent whom we feel will bring high TVQ. The star talent have been selected by virtue of their knowledge of and experience with horses. The preliminary list of talent includes Wayne Newton, William Shatner, Bo Derek, Patrick Swayze, Tom Selleck, and Dennis Quaid. Americas Musical Ride will be produced in a Hi-Definition, multi-camera format, recording 1080p (24 frame) for the switch feed. Additionally, we will shoot interviews and a great deal of B-Roll (film style) during preproduction, production and postproduction. Since all music is click track driven, video footage from the 3-day shoot (5 shows) can easily be edited. The live show will run approximately 3 hours. The TV special will be in a 2-hour format. Creative Center intends to produce a multi-DVD package each year, which will include the entire television special, the making of that years Americas Musical Ride, special features on the history of the musical ride, interviews with the participants in the show (in front of and behind the camera) and interviews with horse enthusiasts from around the world The multi-DVD package will be distributed worldwide by Equestrian Vision USA, a division of HorseTV Media Group, Inc., parent company of The Horse Channel. This year, Americas Musical Ride will be presented at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan, on November 25, 26, and 27, 2005, and will feature more than 75 horses. In 2006, we plan to present Americas Musical Ride in Los Angeles, California; in 2007, Washington, D.C.; in 2008, Austin, Texas; in 2009, St. Louis, Missouri; and in 2010, New York City. Americas Musical Ride, its presentation of superior horsemanship of the worlds most accomplished horsemen and world-class Musical Ridesits full symphony orchestra and choirits celebrities from motion pictures, television, sports, industry and government its attention to presenting world-class entertainment to equestrian enthusiasts throughout the world, will surely permit the annual broadcast event to be both a cultural and a financial success.

Dixieland bands, jazz ensembles, symphony orchestras, solo concert artists' orchestra books - singers as well as instrumentalists, group vocals and choral libraries, etc. The musical genres applicable to the above include standard and contemporary music of all kinds, specialized, personalized to individual artists' requirements. The material includes arrangements of original as well as adaptive works. In 1971, arranged/orchestrated and collaborated with Marvin Gaye on "What's Going On" album, selected by STEREO REVIEW in its 20th Anniversary issue, Feb., 1978, as ... "one of the best soul/gospel recordings of the past 20 years" ... "the finest concept album conceived in the soul-stream; it is remarkable for the consistently high level of music. ..." ROLLING STONE, IN ITS SPECIAL ISSUE #534 of Sept. 8, 1988, picked the single record, "What's Going On", as being a "... jazz-influenced groove and understated production ... like nothing Motown had ever released. ..." This followed the 20th Anniversary issue of Aug. 27, 1987, ROLLING STONE - THE 100 BEST ALBUMS OF THE LAST TWENTY YEARS, in which it was stated "... The Album's nine songs are held together by the seductive, sensual groove that Gaye was still using a decade later in 'Sexual Healing' ... Throw in hints of jazz, a full orchestra, and, crucially. a pronounced gospel feeling, and you have a singular, exquisitely spiritual album. It might have been Motown's first concept album; it certainly was the label's most ambitious."

As the arranger, orchestrator, and co-composer of the first soul/jazz synthesis total concept album, he enables socioreligious concepts of the Black male experience to have musical expression within an extended structure. His work brings the world of American Black culture into a universal realm for the first time by conveying the life of the Black male in terms of the commonalities of the human condition of all mankind. Consequently, Mr. Van De Pitte's music crosses over to other cultures and peoples. It gives a greater understanding of one to the other in appealing to all. His music creates a vehicle through which the brotherhood of man could and can be realized.
