Introduction 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Malaysia is a multicultural country. Students in Malaysia have to study together in a school within different race since young. Different lifestyle and culture cause segregation between each ethnics. This problem can be overcomed through proper way of educations. The elderly also plant ethnocentrism concept into children minds.

Thesis statement Prejudice is critical issue that will influence the unity among the ethnics and corrupt the development of country.

Topic Sentence 1 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Our Ministry of Education set a policy so that students from any race should study together since primary school. The primary objective is to promote integration of ethnics. After the tragedy of May 13th 1969, the racial relationship in Malaysia has become very weak. Since then, students tend to having social life only with friends from the same ethnic. So the prejudice in between race has grown larger and larger.

Topic Sentence 2 1. Our nation is also formed by societies embracing different religions. 2. Religions give guidance for each race to have their own believe. 3. Different religions also talk about their distinct moral values. 4. Discrimination occurs due to lack of understanding of religious believes. 5. Therefore segregation appears and every ethnic live in their own group.

Topic Sentence 3 1. The elderly such as parents are often stereotyped and will teach their children about the wrong facts about other ethnics. 2. Ethnocentrism was built deeply into their mind and they try to influence their child as well. 3. This makes each race thinks that only their race is true and tries to defend their culture. 4. Conflict like fighting and argument happens as a result from the resistance. 5. Racism starts building up in the young generations.

Topic Sentence 4 1. Integration can be done starting in school so that racism will be banished. 2. Like in the video, by establishing a club, students from various races have a chance to speak out their opinions. 3. It makes them understand each race better so less conflict happens in daily life.

4. Tolerance among races is the key for Malaysia to move towards unity and prosperity. 5. It is hard to practice tolerance without understanding.

Conclusion 1. Unity is important for everyone to have a successful life. 2. This is because the strength of a united nation can overcome any challenges and make our life better. 3. Each ethnic must possess a positive thinking to accept other culture and races. 4. All the societies must also help each other and work together without prejudice. 5. If every races can accept each other they will become united and form a harmony country.
