Reports showed the data of all tickets even though the report was generated for a particular record. BMC Remedy User encountered a memory error after saving a Crystal Report. Intermittent workflow issues: the Open dialog did not work correctly, fields were not being populated, and closing the window had no effect. BMC Remedy User crashed frequently due to a memory leak. After a floating license user generated and reviewed a report, the floating license was not released once the user logged out. Disabling Auto Fit Columns on a table field caused unexpected appearance or disappearance of the sort arrow on the column header. Users were unable to sort on the first column of the Result List if the first column was not a Char type. For a Set All operation, the qualification was referring to a wrong Status field value.

A table field qualification problem occurred with dynamic group. Inconsistent behavior during Table field selection or sort: rows were resorted, but the row that you selected was deselected after sorting. The definitions of forms that were cached on BMC Remedy User were not the same as the definitions on the AR System server. Performance issues occurred with BMC Remedy User after upgrading to version 7.0.01 patch 005.
SW00295036
SW00295427
Note: The actual Server Name and Schema Name were replaced in the cache so that BMC Remedy User would not send requests to the AR System server for each field.
SW00295699 Special (Swedish) characters in the result list became corrupted after running Crystal Reports. All forms opened with the same size in BMC Remedy User, regardless of the dimensions set in BMC Remedy Administrator. The Character field could not fully display characters with the default field height and font on the Simplified Chinese OS. The runmacro command did not execute correctly, resulting in a segmentation fault on Linux.

Separators were not correctly placed in decimal values in the German (de) locale. There was a problem with decimal field calculation in the German (de) locale. There was a problem with decimal fields in locales other than English. BMC Remedy User 7.0.01 Patch 004 crashed when opening a Task form, but Patch 001 worked fine when performing the same action. Separators were placed incorrectly for decimal values while performing a Set Fields action with arithmetic operations for non-English locales. The first record selected in a table could not be analyzed after running more than one table loop. The version string in the BMC Remedy User 7.1.00 runmacro executable was referring to version 7.0.01. The behavior of BMC Remedy User 7.1.00 was different when launching Crystal Reports window. BMC Remedy User crashed frequently. Japanese form names appeared garbled in BMC Remedy User after Crystal Reports was opened. After running the table loop active link guide, BMC Remedy User highlighted more records than the rows selected earlier. The *.arv and *.arf cache files were not created correctly in the User Home Directory when the form name included Japanese double-byte characters. There was a problem with field 112, which caused the Public group name to be added to group IDs ending with zeroes. An error occurred while searching for a form with a Japanese form name after opening Crystal Reports and logging in to BMC Remedy User again. BMC Remedy User crashed when opening a display-only form for the second time. The form had an embedded ActiveX component through a View Field inside a dialog box. BMC Remedy User crashed when the memory usage in the Task Manager built up. The fields in Open dialog window were not populated, and closing the

Notes
SW00281679An environment variable named ALERT_RECONNECT_INTERVAL is provided, which controls the interval (in minutes) after which the alert client will connect back to the server, after it has reconnected to the network. The acceptable values for this environment variable are positive numeric values. For example, ALERT_RECONNECT_INTERVAL = 15 implies that the alert client will connect back to the server 15 minutes after it returns to the network, and will then start receiving the alerts from the server. Important: If the environment variable ALERT_RECONNECT_INTERVAL is not set, then the client will not receive alerts after it reconnects to the network. If a user enters a negative or non-numeric value for the environment variable, then the client will not receive alerts after it reconnects to the network. The lower limit for ALERT_RECONNECT_INTERVAL value is 5 minutes. That means, if a user enters a value that is less than 5 minutes, then the program will internally set it to 5 minutes. Thus, the alert client will reconnect to the server 5 minutes after it returns to the network, and will start receiving alerts. SW00283367This is not a defect. The behavior of certain Character Fields causes this confusion, which can be explained as follows. The Character Fields with expand boxes and the Diary Fields do not display characters up to their maximum visible capacity, wordbreak is set for these fields. For example, if such a field on the UI can display up to 15 characters, and the text entered is Reverse engineering the component, then the field displays only the first word Reverse. To view the complete text, you need to open the expand box of the Character Field or the Diary Field. The Character Fields with Menus, however, display characters up to their maximum visible capacity, because wordbreak is not set for such fields. The size of these fields is set at design time, considering the values that they would contain.

Temporary files that got accumulated in the C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp folder needed to be removed. Data was lost when active links pushed data using the TRUNC or ROUND functions from one currency field to another. The arf file reloaded if accessed from ARTask. When BMC Remedy User connected to an older version of the AR System server (6.3 or 7.0.01) it updated (or re-cached) the arf or afv file each time a form was opened. The Service Entry call did not work as expected. Each time a table was refreshed, the source form of the table field was recached resulting in poor performance when opening forms having table fields.
