To whom it may concern I am the VP of Customer Support at Yola.com. In this capacity I had the pleasure of working with Ileana Rossello from 1 February - 31 July 2011. Ileana was appointed as a translation and support specialist and in this capacity she reported directly to me. We engaged Ileanas services because we were localizing our service into 5 new languages in addition to English. Ileana can write and speak all of our supported languages, which makes her an extremely valuable employee for any company that requires multi-language support. Ileana also has a strong background in social media and online community management and so was brought on to help us grow our communities in these new languages. I greatly appreciated the way Ileana got involved and added value from day 1. She was able to provide significant assistance on our translation projects and also attract many new members for our Spanish Facebook and Twitter communities. She played a significant role in helping our other language experts learn to use various social media tools and adopt strategies that helped them grow their own communities. I found Ileana to be thorough and conscientious. She also has experience working remotely as she did so for her previous company (Wix) as well as for Yola. As such she is able to self-manage and does not require supervision in order to complete her tasks on time. We had Ileanas translation abilities in Spanish and Italian assessed by an external translation company and she scored extremely high marks. She is also able to make herself understood in Portuguese, French and German although not on a first language level. It was with deep regret that we were forced to make Ileana role redundant due to cost cutting measures in our company. If the situation ever presented itself I would gladly work with Ileana again.
