    Photo Exhibition to mark 60th Anniversary of Boris Lisanevichs arrival in Nepal A photo exhibition is being organized in Kathmandu to mark the 60th Anniversary of Boris Lisanevichs arrival in Nepal. Boris Lisanevich, aRussian migr, occupies an important place in the history of Nepali tourism. Many regard him as the Father of Nepali Tourism as he helped pave the way for tourism in Nepal by opening the country's first international hotel the Royal Hotel during the late 50s. The photo exhibition will be inaugurated on 16th December and will run till30th December. The theme of the exhibition is Travelling in Nepal. The works of Russian and Nepali photographers (professionals as well as amateurs) will be on display during the exhibition. The exhibition is being jointly organized by Russian Centre of Science & Culture, Nepal Tourism Board, Himalayan Academy of Travel & Tourism and School of Creative Communications. The curator isNadezhda Neupokoeva. Exhibition Venue: Russian Centre of Science & Culture, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu Time: 10 AM to 5 PM Date : 16th to 30th Dec, 2011
