Chipset/Terminal Vendors

Qualcomm: Delay TD-LTE for once: Chipset available @10Q1, small volumes of terminals (CPE, USB) may be @2011 and mature by 2012+. Other vendors like Hisilicon, ST-Ericsson, Freescale, Nokia, also has the similar plan.
Operators

China Mobile: As one of main leaders in TDD standards, China Mobile selects LTE TDD as the evolution of TDS, to compete with competitors in future. They wants to evolve to mainstream standard. FT-Orange/France is conducting LTE trial (both FDD@2.6GHz and TDD@2.6GHz). In Western Europe a Tier-1 operator is working with Huawei for using LTE-TDD@2.6GHz for mobile backhaul solution. In East Europe there is a Tier-2 operator which is preparing LTE@2.6GHz TDD trial with Huawei with planning for commercial rollout in H1-2011. In APAC Region we are engaging talks with a Tier-2 operator looking for migrating to LTE TDD@2.6GHz.

TD-LTE @ 2.3G is used in China ONLY NOW and it is mainly driven by China Mobile. From industry perspective, TD-LTE is supposed to be mature after 2012.
