Sunday Mornings
Sunday Morning Bible Studies -Next monthwe will begin a new series on the minor prophets. Not long ago Chaparral did a sermon series on the minor prophets and we saw how their ancient warnings from over 2,500 years ago are still convicting and relevant today to a people who can be complacent and insincere in their devotion.
Notes - Breakfast will not be served in the Commons on Christmas morning and New Year's morning. Breakfast service will resume on January 8th. - Luminaria Cleanup - Tuesday, December 27th, 10:00 a.m. Teens, the C6 KP group and all others are invited to help.

Adrienne Armes Minister, Youth, Connections
If you would like to provide flowers for the pulpit or stage in honor of a person or special occasion, our 2012 calendar is available for sign-ups on the south counter Sunday mornings.
A note from Artie Eaves: The exchange student is averynicegirl named Signe (pronounced like Seena). I've (Artie) spent some time around Signe and she's a very sweet kid andshe seems extremelyself-sufcient. Signe attends Paradise Valley High School. She is a good student and enjoys being active. She likes riding bikes and working out. She is great with kids. She also told me she loves cars. She has several older brothers at home in Denmark Nick Stavlund andseems to be a bit of a tomboy. Her family in Denmark is aware Executive Minister of the situation and they are hopeful that their daughter can nd a new host family. My understanding is that there is no formal compensation associated with the program. My neighbor really likes Signe and wants to keep in touch with her. She said she will assist the new host family in any way that she can. She told me she would be glad tostay involved to assist with transportation or anything else that is needed.
Poinsettias!
Please take your poinsettias home with you on Christmas Day. Enjoy!

Helpful Information
We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad you are here today!
We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in which you can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear from everyone! Communion/Lords Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while it is in front of them before passing it along. Offering In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving as you are led. Nursery We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
