Supply Chain Manager Construction Excellent Supply Chain Manager job available with a leading medical company based

d in Saudi Arabia based in Riyadh. The role is responsible for leading a team of 40 staff across Planning, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Purchasing and Logistics functions, all of which are critical to provide high quality on time delivery to customers, minimizing material/ logistics costs and optimizing working capital stock investment. The role has significant opportunity and scope to make substantial operational improvements Responsibilities:

Create, continuously develop and maintain operating processes and controls for Supply Chain functions in line with best business practices. Manage inventory planning for consumable including demand planning (S&OP), using SAP system. Reporting to management Supply Chain performance, against KPIs. Coordinating with other departments including Sales to achieve financial targets and meet customer satisfaction. Use a wide range of evidence from diverse sources to identify problems, understand them, and develop effective solutions. Understand the strengths and weaknesses of different kinds of evidence and data, and reflects this in decision-making. Use (or procure) financial and economic analysis to determine financial impact and develop effective plans. Allocate, monitor and adjust resources to meet changing delivery needs. Communicates the strategic vision clearly, adopts a corporate approach and inspires the team to achieve its goals. Authorize and encourage the team to invest time to come up with improved ways of doing things. Manage the relationships between many different vendors. Relationship building is important in maintaining the expected high level of service and quality.

Always looking at ways to improve supply networks Dealing with staff recruitment and training. Building and maintaining good relationships with the clients, line managers as well as with the entire team to make them understand the needs and objectives. Developing and implementing long term goals in order to ensure efficiency. Mentoring abilities towards the subordinates in the entire department. Ensuring that the financial objectives set by the firm are met properly. Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers. Knowing the criticality of delivery for fast moving goods for hospitals and clinics, will develop processs to ensure delivery expectations can be met and always fulfilled, whilst maintaining controlled working capital, measuring all process steps and ensure continuous improvements are made.

Qualifications and Requirements:


Multinational Company Experience able to bring international best practices in Supply Chain management Project management experience is essential, ideally fit out construction experience Medical / Hospital experience would be a distinct advantage PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment) and strong working knowledge of SAP Supply Chain modules and Excel is preferred. Arabic-speaker highly preferred but not essential for the right candidate Quick turnover/FMCG experience, ideally the individual will have experience in a consumable healthcare oriented organization CIPS, BPICS or equivalent is a plus.

A proven track-record in making a significant contribution towards developing and improving the Supply Chain function. Law and Government - Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits. Exceptional track record of achieving stringent operational KPIs within high quality and customer focused supply chain functions. Experience within GCC preferably in Saudi Arabia.
